Well, we all seem to get the impression that TLH is to TDK as YO was to BB.
Niether was/will be a direct adaptation, but they bothe seemed to draw heavily from those two sources, from what we have seen so far, and been told so far.
I do not expect in anyway for the Holiday Killings to be a part of TDK, but I was curious if they might allude to them, or Holiday, in some manner in the film.
What would you think if they did, and how would you see them doing it?
I am just thinking of how this could be included as one of the allusions to TLH in TDK.
We had the bat calling device, and the final scene, and the focus on Falcone in Begins all drawn from Year One.
We have the "I believe in . . . " and the sense of how they will handle Dent, and the introduction of the "Freaks" into Gotham in The Dark Knight, all of which are probably drawn from, or influenced by, The Long Halloween.
It would certainly tickle me to have a very subtle allusion to Holiday, or even something that would have a double meaning reference only to those who have read the book, being thrown in Begins.
But obviously not a full blown adaptation of Holiday. That could only be done in it's own movie, or animated movie/arc.
Who knows, maybe someone pulling the "him/her" dialogue in reference to an uknown killer in one scene.
What do you guys think, and how would you like it done, and what other references would you love to see?
