LOL. Nick at Nite is airing this show now. I love it. It's a traditional sitcom but with slapstick. That is what made the show great. There was nothing better than watching Tim Allen falling off the roof of a house.

BTW...I know it has been over a decade but I'm still upset that Brad never had sex with Heidi. That would have been awesome. t:

I used to watch this when I was younger.

I feel it's hit or miss. Sometimes it could be embarrassingly awful, but other times it was incredibly funny -- better than most sitcoms out there. The later seasons were pretty terrible in my opinion, but some of the early episodes with the younger kids were actually quite funny.

And yeah, some of the slapstick humor was well done.

It was funny enough, and somewhere in the later seasons they had a chick join the Tool Time group that was pretty hot.

Yea, but she didn't do much. When she left them for Baywatch they realized that they screwed up and actually gave Heidi something to do besides shouting "welcome to Tool Time".

My only disappointed with Heidi was that she never hooked up with Brad. The poor kid spent like 5 seasons drooling over her. By season 8, Brad, was already 18. They could have hooked up.

Yeah, that show too. I started watching re-runs of Sabrina the Teenage Witch and Family Matters for a while over the summer though, that was fun

I'm DVR'ing EVERY episode so far.

This, and "Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" are some of the definitive sitcoms of the early 90's.

It always looked to me that most of the scrpited humour was awful but tim allens ablibs were pretty funny. Other than tim and Al all the characters sucked imo. Wilson wasn't meant to be funny so he gets away with it but Jill was abysmal, the actress took herselve too seriously.

I loved every episode with Bob Vila in it. Tim "the poor mans Bob Vila" Taylor was at his best whenever this guy wan on an episode!

yea, that was a good one. The Christmas episodes were always great.

The only problem I have with the show is Tim ALWAYS being an obnoxious *****e to Al. Other than that, good show.

I wish they had a epsidoe were al host tool tim. every where tim go they also ask for al's autograph. it always seem that al know more about tools then tim did. I think they did had epsidoes were al host tool tim. he didn't have a beard. they said it was one of the worst shows of tool time.

This last Christmas, my friend got the toolbox that comes with all the seasons of Home Improvement in it. He actually watched all of the episodes.
