I tend to agree with Eddie, that is has to be Adam. The whole Hiro in ancient China arc had to leading up to this. I really think it's simple revenge on the part of Adam with no twists involved.

Didn't he say that he saw that picture before, to Matt? Perhaps Nathan is ticked off at everyone related to Linderman for killing his brother.

Also, does Adam's blood ONLY heal, or could it effect Nathan mentally?

At any rate Nathan has the ability to pull it off and a motive.

Also, everyone that is going to die has been given a picture of themselves with the symbol on it. Isn't Adam one of the only ones who used that symbol? Neither Peter nor Nathan know what it means, right?

Well, with the latest spoilers it says that the figure who killed Kaito did it out of revenge. Sounds like Adam to me.

I posted it in the Mama Petrelli thread. Figured might as well throw it out there in here too.

Y'know, I've been thinking...what if Adam is Papa Petrelli? And what if the reason he faked his suicide is because of Kaito's affair with Mama Petrelli that was spoken of in the second episode? In other words, to Nakumura men have taken from him the women he loved. And that is the reason he killed Kaito as the hooded man and still wants revenge at Hiro after all these years?

Then again, I suppose Peter would've recognized him if he was his father. Unless of course the Haitian was up to something or Adam DOES age and simply found a way to hide it.

Or what if Hiros father is part of the original group that locked him up for a very long time & he wants revenge on Hiros father for that & revenge on Hiro as well. I think Adam killing Hiros father is nothing more then a personal vendetta against Hiros father himself for possibly being in the group that locked Adam up & Hiros father being Hiros father is just an added bonus for Adam.

Perhaps. Still, the way Mr. Petrelli is looking away from the camera and yet has an odd resemblence to Adam is pretty questionable. Plus it is odd the way they mentioned the affair between Mrs. Petrelli and Kaito in passing but never really built on it.

Papa Petrelli looked like he was in his 30s/early 40s in the online comic. And he had no abilities whatsoever.

But if that is the case though, why would Kaito say that "Out of all of you, you are the last one I would suspect."? If he locked Adam up and knew he escaped, wouldn't he sort of expect him to take revenge?

I don't think it would be that bad. It makes more sense to me anyhow then a guy holding a grudge for hundreds of years.
