Hooded character speculation *spoilers*

the guy who bumped into Ando in the street, is probably the one who put the pic in the paper. If anyone taped the ep, look at the guys face..i'm willing to bet there's your killer.

OR

That was done on purpose to mislead us?

Honestly, it's probably someone we haven't seen.

As far as Nathan knows (at least from what has been shown), the only people he's 100% sure where involved with the conspiracy are his Mother & Linderman.

thought that it was one of the other 9... he wasn't sure. He was suprised when the hooded guy was there.

OR

He was surprised at which one of the 8 remaining (himself excluded) it was?

All these theories are giving me headaches. I do agree with one thing; the guy who bumped into Ando in the street, is probably the one who put the pic in the paper. If anyone taped the ep, look at the guys face..i'm willing to bet there's your killer.

The guy who bumped into Ando was Nathan.

I smell a red herring.

As I said, I'm 99.99% sure that we don't know this killer yet. We might know OF him, but we probably haven't seen him yet.

It still could be Nathan...he's apparently horribly disfigured (or is he?) and that would explain the hood...but to kill his own mother...I guess not.

It's not Nathan...it's not Peter...and it's not Sylar...for one, simple reason:

THEY WEREN'T PART OF THE ORIGINAL 12.

You people just dismiss that fact like it's unimportant. :whatever:

i have a feeling the hooded person was ms Patrelli, she seems to have a darker hidden agenda.

I guess when Hiro comes back to his time & Ando gives him the update he will try saving daddio ?

Very first post on the SHH boards, I have been a quiet observer for quite sometime... Just wanted to add my theory...
The Hooded guy is Nathan..... Nathan bumped into Ando on the street and planted the picture of Hiro's dad in the paper... Nathan walked into the apartment where his mother was and when she left there was her picture on the wall, but Nathan didn't see it? And finally when the "hooded guy" took Hiro's dad off the building he disappeared or, more like, flew away...
Motive? He's angry that his mother and the group she was involved with all had the plan to have Peter blow up the city. He is getting revenge for what he thinks is the death of his brother.

Tell me what you all think.

you completely said what i was thinking. literally, word for word.

why are you assuming that its one of the original 12? hiro's dad said he couldnt believe it was him. he never mentioned anything about the hooded guy being part of the 12, or that he couldnt believe he was part of the 12. you assumed wayyy to much bucko.

I think someone like Hiros father died to easily to be dead. I highly doubt we have seen the last of him.

I have no clue who the hooded character could be. But I wish he killed Angela Petrelli instead of Kaito Nakamura. I never really like ms. petrelli, but seeing George Takei as Hiro's father was awesome.

I guess when Hiro comes back to his time & Ando gives him the update he will try saving daddio ?

I was wondering the same thing. I'm thinking he may not because he may worry about cause a rift and his past experience from trying to saving Charlie. But he may go back anyways since he might feel that the benefits will outweigh the risk.

I think everyone is missing a key thing with the whole original 12 thing... Hiro's dad said that he believes it would be one of the 9 originals remaining... When he was finally confronted by this hooded man, he was surprised by who it was. Not once was there a confirmation or a definite statement that it was definitively one of the remaining 9. You just dismiss the whole of what was said.
I'm not saying I'm right but it's my theory and until more facts come up I think it is a fairly good idea given the facts I used to back up my theory. I could be totally wrong though cause this show send curve balls all the time!

If someone had a mind control ability they could easily get Peter to kill Nakamura, he's had to have contact with someone in the company, cause where else would he get the necklace. that's what I believe happened. But if the spoilers are true, then it's not. As for him being in the cargo container, he could have killed nakamura, traveled back in time, then get loaded on the container.

You people keep on ignoring the facts, but when it's one of 12, I'm coming back here to laugh at you.

The whole "I can't believe it's you" even furthers MY belief. He's saying it because, out of the 12, he can't believe that it's this one particular person.

But no...you're right. It's Peter. Yeah...and I'm Tim Kring. :whatever:

There are no facts yet, unless there is some spoiler out there that I haven't read. If there is, don't tell me what, I'm not reading spoilers.

I don't recall exactly how he phrased his disbelief, but I don't think it indicated if it was part of the 12. And it seems like the 12 don't really trust or like each other, so why the disbelief? Plus, if it was one of the 12, that would seem almost too cliche.

I don't think it's Sylar because the build doesn't fit, and it would be corny for Sylar to be the shadowy mysterious figure again.

My prediction is that it's one of the Petrelli brothers. The hooded guy fits both of their builds. And the "I can't beleive it would be you" would make sense because he couldn't beleive that they would kill their own mother. Maybe as more people die, it turns out to be both, yet neither of them know the other is also killing. Some clues:

Nathan - Could easily fly away after knocking Mr. Nakamura off the building. The scar he saw in the mirror, maybe not a physical scar but a reflection of how he feels in his soul. He also knew of his mother's plot to sacrafice Peter to better the world. Revenge is a good motivator.

Pete - Could easily fly away or teleport after knocking Mr. Nakamura off the building. Also, after Nakamura was knocked off the building, Peter showed a new ability to shoot electric bolts from his hands. They never mentioned what Nakamura's power was, so maybe that was his power that Pete absorbed.

People have stated that maybe Peter absorbed Nikki's split personality. I just have a few comments about that. I personally never believed that Nikki's split personality was part of her power, but something more personal shared between the sisters, so it isn't something that can be absorbed. Also, even though Nikki wasn't aware of what Jessica did, she still knew who she was. Peter had flat out amnesia. Maybe the Haitan had something to do with that. After he showed up in New York to surprise Claire, he kind of dissapeared. We don't know what his true intensions are.

I love random theories! So entertaining...

Although with Heroes you can never be sure of anything - it at least for now seems that the 'hooded figure' is one of the remaining 'nine' (or eight minus Kaito)... what Kaito actually says is "of all of them, I never expected it would be you" - which does suggest that the 'you' is part of the group he believed was trying to kill him.

One thing thats more clear is that the hooded figure, is 'gone'... Only Kaito hits the ground - or at least Takei's stunt double.

As for a random theory, I'm going for whoever Kristen Bell's character turns out to be, as the hooded person. Sure the hands looked masculine, but the frame was pretty small. And that figure may not necessarily have been THE actual character actor. Plus I think it'd be a cool move to have someone like Kristen Bell as part of the original older group. No real evidence for that of course... thats why its random. Although...

...Bell did say that her character's first appearance was doing something pretty terrible... whats worse than offing Sulu!

Read some spoilers they shoot your theory straight down.
Its not Peter
Its not Sylar
Its not Nathan
It is supposed to be one of the original group unless the spoilers are all wrong.

they do have a point. it is implied that the person who left the photos is one of the 12, and Nakamura and Petrelli believe it is one of the 12, but it could be anyone with knowledge of the group and its members.

Wait...

Isn't Kane part of the show now? I heard Tim Kring mention the man briefly. Zachary Quinto, the man playing Sylar, confirmed that it would be nieve to think that he is the only villain in season 2.

"Of all of them, I never expected it would be you"

I think that's the exact quote (not sure 'cause I have some problem understanding spoken english :) )

Some more random suspects!

Claire's stalker: He sure has some weird thing going on, and with the flying, he is as much of a suspect as Nathan
Ando: Remember when we had the theory that the new villain would be someone who had died if the future hadn't changed?
