I always loved Machine Man. X-51 always seemed more human the... well most people. Maybe As a Pixar could breath some soul into the character. Live action could work too. I loved Centenial Man, imagine that merged with James Bond. The story could revolve around SHEILD LTM's and the race to perfect them, HYDRA, & A.I.M. like espianage. They could even throw in Machine Smith or The Mad Thinker

I always loved Machine Man too.

I wouldn't mind a film based on the 80s miniseries that was set in the future with the Evil Iron Man, though that's just a personal fanboy dream. I would be happy with any type of MM film.

Machine Man, The Eternals, even Devil Dinosaur - I'd like to see movies from ALL of Jack's creations!

Centenial Man's concept of an AI robot trying to gain individuality could use a better moving plot. To think to add Centennial Man with a James Bond type espionage film is very intriguing idea. Continue the really great wave of sci-fi that came out.

I'd make it a TV series. I think it would be better suited to a longer drawn out character piece.

I always liked the idea of a Marvel Knights TV series that rotated around a group of characters much like ABC Mystery Movie of the week revolved around McMillian & Wife, McCloud, and Columbo. They were basically 90 min. detective movies made for TV.

I could see a Moon Knight, White Tiger, and Machine Man rotation working. Of course you could plug a lot of different characters in instead of my suggestions. The main thing would be the variety.

The con would be the cost and TV's reluctence to invest.

Um, I have never heard of Machine Man. :O

He's awesome. Jack Kirby introduced him along with Devil Dinosaur, & I believe the Eternals when he came back to Marvel after a stint with DC.

Also had a great limited series 1985 w/Barry WinsorSmith.

And he's an Avenger. I envy you so much, there is so much fantastic stuff for you to explore 1962-Present! Anyway Machine Man is more human then most human's.

Oh wow! I have seen him before but never knew his name......comics are so hard to catch up on...especially these days!

Lol, I've forgotten more then I've remembered myself. Thank god for Wiki

I can see them making the plot different than Bicentenial Man, plus add in the Superhero action stuff,

heh... I'd like to see the warren ellis interpretation with NextWave...

I kind of liked the sentinel angle they did a few years ago.

How about something that maybe uses Machine Man but comes up with its own story?
Not changing Machine Man or his character or origin at all, just something like
A man, who thought he was human all his life, finds out that he is actually a robot created during WWII.
Perhaps there is some sort of rebirth of the Machine Man project or something that involves him and that he has to stop. (Maybe because he was created for military use as a weapon but his creator didn't want that so he hid him.)

Of coarse all that is me making stuff up that may have nothing to do with Machine Man.

Agreed! Marvel should start to gain some ground on DC by introducing some of their minor characters on tv and MM would be perfect for that. I'd say on Syfy or DisneyXD.
