Looks really bad.

In my house, I have a 42" 1080p HDTV, the Wii, looks terrible on it.

I'm currently in a hotel, and they have a 32" 1080i HDTV, and the Wii looks ok??????

So, my question is how can we improve the Wii on a large HDTV? I'm using the Component cables (red, green, blue), so I am getting 480p.

Is anybody else experiencing this problem or have tried the Wii on both a small and a large tv?

Looks fine on my tv, but I don't have the same standards people nowadays seem to have when it comes to the graphics. My tv is a 52'' 1080i and I see no problems.

If you go to say Best Buy. They probably have the Wii on a smaller HDTV for display. Do you ever noticed how the colors are more vibrant. The picture seems more clearer? On your TV, does the picture seems to be...... how can I put this in words...... CLOUDY?

Not that I notice...but I've never tried noticing to be honest. :p

My tv is 1080i, but it's a prection based tv and it's not as clear as the flatscreens and stuff. It fits my purposes though.

get component cables. Thats about the only thing I can think of. You arent going to get an amazing picture though bc the Wii isnt an HD system

That's bc the Wii can only output at a maximum of 480 i/p so it will always look best on a smaller tv. As you increase TV, size you start to stretch and distort that resolution which is why it gets more blurry and less sharp and crisp on larger HDTVs. Thats just the way Nintendo designed it
