My questions: Doctor Strange spell brought people from other universes to the MCU, but only those who know Peter is Spider-man... How did Venom/Eddie get there, when they did not have Spider-man in their universe, let alone know Peter Parker?

According to the Venom: LTBC post-credits scene, Venom is part of a hive-mind and his race’s knowledge and memories span the multiverse. So Hardy’s Venom knows about Tobey’s Spidey via Topher’s Venom.

This is the way I looked at it too. The way Venom looks at Holland's Spider-Man makes me thinks he knows of him or some version of him.
