How do you read a girl?

Alright, I have a situation here?

There's this girl. She got me to admit I liked her and all that and she said that I definitley have a shot with her. The only problem was is that she had a boyfriend. After some talking she told me that she doesn't like him and he's too clingy.

She said she wants to break up with him. Did my revelation prompt this? I have no idea. Well, she sends me a text saying that she broke up with him (with a smiley face on it.) Well, I misplaced my cell for two days. I find it and I reply that "I don't know what to say." She then tells me that "it's been one of the worst days ever!" I ask if there is anything she can do, but she says no.
So that was on Wednsday, so today I send her a text asking if she feels better. She said "yes" because "Jimmy (**** it his name is Jimmy) finally talked to me today after being mad at me." So know I have no idea what the **** is going on.

She's playing some weird chess game with me. I need to know how I can try to get the real scoop without making it seem obvious that I care. I want to come off like (you know) not really concerned.

Any suggestions?

Sounds like she may be playing games with you. Best thing is to put the ball in her court though. Tell her to hit you up if she feels ready to go on a date. Then it's up to her. In the mean time, don't just sit around waiting for her. If you have the opportunity to go out with someone else, take it. If she really likes you, she'll make things happen.

That's a good idea. I shouldn't have to wait around. I'll just take it as it is. I really like her, but I can't put her on a pedastool.

I got an update. She sent me a text today. She said: "Yeah, we're still broken up, but we like eachother"

wtf does that mean? I didn't send her one back because I was busy. That was hours ago. Should I send one back? I want her to clarify, but I don't want it to seem like she owns me.

Oh boo, just read this. Seriously, f' her dumb games. She's totally playing you for the attention and so she'll feel wanted. She probably even tells her ex about you to make him jealous. I say leave her alone.

DEFINITELY don't wait around. You can still tell her to hit you up when she's ready to actually go on a date if you really want to, but it sounds like she isn't worth it. Playing games is the worst.

You could always dry hump her at a disco concert, that seemed to work for you last time.

Just don't send her anything at all....period....the best way to let her know that you want fall for her tricks is to not fall for them....even negative attention is attention....just give her nada.....never know...after a while of that she might come running.

When you look at his pix in the photo album he looks like a twelve year old boy.

I just want to know if he's lying about his personal life, 'cause that wouldn't be cool in the least.

Seriously, there's a good chance that she really does like him. Despite that, she IS still playing dumb games and I'm willing to bet a lot of it is to make her boyfriend jealous.
