How excited are you for Transformers?

I was excited about Blade 3...but seeing it was like a big kick in the nuts.

I asked this 8 year old today which summer movies he's seen so far and he said FF, i asked what he thought of it and he replied it was pretty cool, cept for the end

i asked about spiderman and he said he'd get to it eventually

(that's explains this summer in a nutshell)

i asked abooot transformers and he said I can't "****ing wait" and then he looked around to see if his mom was in ear shot

I asked why

he said casue it looks so crazy i've gotta see what's up...

i asked if he watched the cartoon
he said

I don't know about the cartoon only the movie!

i asked about harry potter
he said he likes it

he then said he'd get to it eventually

it looks so ****1ing real...almost "hyper real"

i said that's no doubt do to bays dp and sliding camera

he also said all he had no idea it was being made, but a few nights ago he seen a tv spot and he almost fell out of his chair, he called his "80's buds" and it's going to be party time come july 3

i think that's pretty much the effect it's going to have on the general pubic.....

speilberg is somewhere doing his Monty Burns laugh right now

Well considering I've been anticipating a Transformers movie for 20 years I should be excited.

But the stench of wasted potentials kills any excitement I could've had for this long-awaited moment. It's like pursuing the girl of your dreams for 8 years but when you finally get her naked for the honeymoon she smells like raw sewage between the legs.

As an old-school G1 Transfan from the 80s (I started to like TF back in '86), this is like a dream come true. I remember when Spider-man movie finally came out, and I was really excited so I registered with SHH!, and now the feeling is very similar with Transformers. I like all the trailers released so far, and despite several differences with G1 (like Megatron), I think the movie looks solid and will probably beat out SM3 and POTC3 as the movie of the summer.

I just hope July 3rd arrive quickly, and I will probably see it twice.
