Greenlit for Season 6, I can see Season 6 being the last season.

Especially since Jason Segel and NPH starting to rack up the film roles.

Too bad that DWTS crushed this show in the ratings.

I hope it ends with a proposal and she says yes. "And that kids is how I met your mother." All the clues are shown added up to the event, then a montage leading up to the wedding/wedding/honeymoon/returning home/adventures with the gang.

It would be anti-climatic I think to just be introduced to this character for one episode and be told that's the mom. She should be recurring and the audience should like her as well. There should be a payoff for waiting this long. Well there should be Mother stuff coming up in April/May as Tony has that movie coming out.

Though it would mirror the pilot episode if that's how they did it, just flat out said she was the mom at the end of the episode.

I would rather see "How they fell in love" rather then "met". If Stella was the mom would you rather just have that episode where they go on a date as "That's How I Met Your Mother" or wrap the show up with the wedding?

Judging from the show's title, I'm assuming they will end with Ted "meeting" the mother or going on a date. I don't think they need to show them falling in love, getting married, etc...but I wouldn't be opposed to it either. I just feel they need to at least introduce her next season. I'm getting impatient of these little clues being thrown around.

Just noticed last night a little tie between two of my favorite shows: How I Met Your Mother and House.

The first ex-girlfriend crying on the couch that Marshall had to console was Amber (aka cutthroat ***** from House.

It's not the first time she's been on the show. Ted dated her in season 1.

Disapointing episode. It would have been funnier if the monkey actually did rob Marshall. And the ending was way too predictable.

Agreed, I didn't really like this episode. Ehh, every now and then they have a clunker.

Last night's ep was okay. It was a Ted/Mother building block episode and those are okay, I seem to prefer episodes that are a little more Barney-centric or have a lot more Barney-lines.

"And we're going to have a sausage fest" made me laugh hard though.

It was better than that monkey episode but it wasn't anything special. Although i was happily surprised by that flashback with Barney and Ted's mom. I don't remember which episode it was but Barney has said that he and ted's mom made out one time. It was nice to see that it wasn't some random lie/joke from Barney.

Still, I loved Monday's episode. Although I wish they spent more time at the wedding. All that stuff was golden.

Barney just reached a new level of creepy and Ted gets more sad to watch with each episode. I get that the dude wants to find his dream woman, but the guy is just way too obsessed with it.

I had this idea for a blog, a real life How I Met Your Mother, basically the concept was my friend would post blogs revolving around his dating life until he found the right one. He didn't like the idea, which is too bad, because he's the Ted of our group (ready to settle down).

I agree the episode was okay and better than the previous monkey episode. I liked that it involved Ted and his mother search. At least we know how he got the house he's living in, in the future (though I never really cared about that detail). Isn't Ted's mother, the mother from Heroes?
