I still love the show. It is one of the best show's on air right now, I think.

damn....Question: Okay, after watching Laura Prepon's annoying Karen nearly ruin an otherwise outstanding episode of HIMYM last Monday, I'm left wondering how long we have to put up with her. --Steve
Ausiello: Maybe we were watching different shows, because I thought Laura's Karen was a riot. But you'll be pleased to hear that her arc will come to an end after just one more episode. (Some ignoramus originally reported that she was booked for five episodes, which couldn't have been farther from the truth. Nothing pisses me off more than sloppy journalism.)
but it was great seeing prepon on television again. In a recent interview one of the creators said he would like to do another 4 seasons of the show. That would bring it to 8 seasons total. I'd be fine with 2 more.
And Karen will be sticking around for another 4 episodes.
Is that the prevailing opinion? 'Cause I think Barney and Robin getting together would be awesome. That episode where Robin was Barney's substitute bro was great, so I figure a relationship between them would be like that with less hitting on other girls and more laser tag.How I Met Your Mother should learn from the mistakes Friends made.
Joey + Rachel was a terrible idea. Robin + Barney is a terrible idea.
Rachel + Ross having a baby was a terrible idea. You know the rest.
I don't know. Maybe if you watched all 3+ seasons really quickly you aren't as invested in Ted and Robin's relationship. But if you watched them in real time, it's a different story.
I knew it was a Lebowski reference!Loved the Big Lebowski reference.
The show says that she's not the mother... she's not the mother. They're not Ross and Rachel... cause they are Ted and Robin. Two completely different characters from the Friends ones.
Maybe I'm just immune to this whole "soul mate" idea. I didn't give a f*** whether Rachel and Ross stayed together in Friends and I don't give a f*** whether Ted and Robin stay together in HIMYM. In fact, I'm glad the latter two split up because, frankly, Robin's sort of out of Ted's league as far as I'm concerned. Ted's kind of a dork, so part of the fun of the show for me is seeing how goofy he'll get in his encounters with new women.
The whole point of the show is the journey toward Ted meeting the mother. Once he does that, the show either ends or Ted becomes another Marshall. Ted and Robin aren't "meant to be"; quite the opposite, since it's established in the first or second episode that Robin is his kids' "Aunt Robin," not their mother. All of Ted's relationships need to remain fleeting until the end.
Barney, on the other hand, could have a lot of interesting character development from a relationship with... well, anyone, really, but especially Robin. They're like two peas in a pod. I think it'd be good for both characters.
Another great episode tonight that had its share of laughs and drama.
Marshall and Barney's PJs and the debate was hilarious.
Great to see Prepon's character go, did not like her at all.
"Bridge!"
