Most people who have a room for comics do that method,comics in boxes,in a shelf.My situation is the same,except i dont sleep in it.Its just a room for comics,i have 4 shelfs at each of the walls except for the wall with the door you enter in.

The shelfs extend up nearly to the celing,with comics in boxes.Comics i rarely read,or for storage go on top.With comics i read more reagularly near the bottom,i have some figures,but not much.

I'm really selective when buying comics these days.If one issue rubs me the wrong way,I drop it right away.

I'm in the process of selling parts of my collection too.I don't want to be one of those guys with 20 longboxes sitting around never being opened.
