If Maguire is going to be Parker, should the movie be placed a few years in the future, so better accomodate Maguire's age? Maybe open up with Parker graduation college?

Maguire bothers me, but yea after about two years at graduation and Connors can turn into the lizard at the graduation and peter has to make a choice of what to do

two years would be good.
and Peter really should become a teacher like in the comics.

Toby's age nor him himself doesn't bother me. Keep him in the movies. As for movie years, I would have a year or a couple of months difference.

I would have it where Peter and MJ are repairing and patching up their broken relationship. Peter feels that there's still a chance he might get a second chance on handing her an engagement ring once again and pop the question to her but only time and fate can decide it all. Peter is working as an assistant for Doc Connors and still shoots photos for the Bugle.

New York is safe---for now but when Peter encounters two thieves named Alex O'Hern and Herman Schulz (aka Shocker and Rhino) and disposes of them early in the movie. He feels that his crimefighting work is far from over. We later learn it really is, as Connors becomes The Lizard and Kraven the Hunter comes along to make matters even worse.

That's a pretty cool idea; but how about Adrian Toomes with Schultz instead, since they are both tech villains?:word:

I don't really care about the age. I mean Tobeys been doing that part for ages no point in changing it now. Just have him act differently, make him more Spidey like.

Well we never really had a good idea of the time between SM2 and SM3. We know that enough time has passed for MJ to open up a Broadway play so that should make it at least a year, yet Peter and Harry sitting in that gray area for that long without MJ getting suspicious is kind of ridiculous. And also Peter can now order champagne in a restaurant so it means he should be 21, which makes him at least a junior in college.

I say open the fourth movie with him finishing his last year in college or graduating and looking on to a work in science and getting an internship for several months at Dr. Conners' lab. So about a year, I'd say.

I say about a year or a year and a half. However, I have no problem with less than a year.

Take place later, but no more than two years. Allow time for Peter to graduate, and following that he can ask MJ to marry him (for real). Go through the movie, end with the marriage (Peter running in carrying his shoe as he did in the comics).

Keep him in college still, it should take place only a couple of months later during the winter time

Wishful thinking :oldrazz::hyper:

^I do like the idea of it being set in winter

and ya, couple month maybe at the most
I don't like large time gaps in between sequels

Keep Peter in college for a couple more films.

SM3 was originally supposed to take place in the winter. The producer said they had beautiful concept designs of Peter hanging upside down and looking at the symbiote suit for the first time while it was snowing. The final scene was supposed to be Spidey vs. Venom in a snow storm with a slushy Sandman (I suppose on the Sandman part). But the SFX team said it would be too complicated to do all the VFX shots with digital snow as well so it got scrapped and changed to early spring (like the last film).

Also in Koepp's original screenplay for SM3, the last half was supposed to take place in November (which it did in the movie). And he had it snowing when Spidey fought GG at Macy's Day Parade (which was changed to Unity Day Festival when Macy's refused).

Spider-Woman should be in Part 3 and 4

Because, it's time for the Dynamic Heroes to become spin-offs like Wolverine is coming out. But Elektra came out first from the Dare-Devil Movie ? Spider-Woman shall stay between part 3 and 4 like the Original Superman films did. Oh! I forgot to say something, SUPERGIRL came out first in 1984, that Warner Bros decided to release the first Comic Book Motion Picture on the Dynamic Hero.

Supergirl was the first Spin-Off from the "Super-Dynamic Hero Movie" came out from DC. Then DC's Catwoman and others Marvel's Elektra and the upcoming Wolverine film. Let's see if Comic-Con can agree with these Spin Off films. [/B

say what? You want a spider-woman movie? That is the cheesiest concept in the world. I prefer female characters who can stand on their own and are not cash-ins on already successful IPs. The idea of a "Spider-Woman" movie would be laughed off the screen. And after the inclusion of Venom in SM3, adding characters just to make money and leave the door open to a spin-off is a BAD idea.
