I'm predicting between 5 and 7 seasons more or less coinciding with the five years Oliver spent on the island.

Well, the island origin is suppose to span 5 years, 5 years could equal 5 seasons... Of course they could expand on it if it's still doing well and have more stories to tell. I'd be happy with at least 5 seasons though. :D As long as the quality remains at the level they have reached.

I'd be happy with 5 seasons. Shows can't run forever, otherwise they start losing the quality.

At least 7, Buffy got that many and this is much better.

The CW will push the series as long as it pulls in ratings. It's a business.

Heck, they could even continue the show without Amell.

It's called "Arrow." Colton or another archer could take up the lead at some point without the show's branding having to change.

If that piece of shhh-tuff,Smallville can get 10 seasons,Arrow better get at least as many!:argh:

5 seasons would be perfect. Have each season span a year on the island. I can already picture the closing moments of the series. The scenes transition back and forth from Oliver escaping from the island, while in the present Oliver has fully committed to being a hero and has taken up the Green Arrow mantle with Roy dressed as Speedy and Laurel dressed as Black Canary by his side.

At least 5 so we can come full circle with the island flashbacks.

fixed :woot:

It'll go for long I think with them setting up a universe around it. 10 season mang.

If they could stretch Smallville for 10 seasons, Arrow should more than enough be able to do the same.

Five seasons. A season for every year on the island to finally reveal all that happened. By then the DCCU should be up and running; and this show would have served it's role as an important first step.

Likely 5 unless they want to develop a Young Justice live-action series featuring Roy as either Speedy, Arsenal, or Red Arrow.

I would like 5-6. One for each year at the island (we are Year 2 now) and 1 season for the final arc and the climax. 10 seasons is too much and very risky for a show on CW. Also shows with islands tend to get crappy very easly towards the last seasons if they drag (i am looking at you Lost, i've read better fanfiction that Lindelof's scripts)

5 would be good, but I wouldn't mind more as long as the show is still going strong.

Agreed. I'm all for keeping a show running as long as it's still quality. I don't think the producers of Arrow envisioned it quite the same as a show like Breaking Bad, where they started it with a definite ending in mind.

So if it's still good after 5 seasons, keep going. But I would love to see it get at least 5.

They have enough characters and storylines to pull from to keep them going for well over a decade. The only thing that would need to be altered is the flashbacks. They'll need to slow down showing those five years,or else wrap up that storyline and drop the flashback angle in a few more seasons.

Obviously at least five... Give them a Season per year on the Island.... After that? Maybe two seasons, depending on the status of the DCU...

They won't end it at 5 seasons if the ratings are still good. You guys are basically saying the show will jump off a ratings cliff if they end it at 5 seasons willingly.
