How much does Disney make off of merchandising?

I was thinking about this, and although we focus on the BO numbers of these movies, from my understanding the merchandising licenses for some of these characters are worth even more than their box office takes. I can't find any real numbers on merchandising, so I was wondering if anyone here was knowledgable on how much Disney could be making from merchandising? I have to imagine that IM3's merchandising will reach a billion, and Spider-Man film merchandising (which Disnet have the rights to) are also worth about a billion. I wouldn't be surprised if Avengers was in the 2 billion range.

Also, do we know who exactly owns the X-Men movie merchandising rights?
