How much time has passed?

well since spider-man 2 was 2 years after spider-man 1, and i assume spider-man 3 is about 2 years or 3 years after the second. Harry has built a new glider, Peter is gonna ask M.J. to marry him. M.J. career has taken off even more then before. This events suggest a very long period of time.

-2 years...its the prequel to spidey 2 :D lol no I'm just kidding, I would say maybe one year? From spidey 1 to spidey 2 it was 2 years. Now with everything going on with harry, maybe a year?

Why a year? The movie would open with Peter and Harry duking it out over Manhattan. Of course there will be more build up to that fight scene.

The 3 years deal is rumor...even if published in a magazine.

We're looking at a matter of months max...educated guess.

The movie should start right after 2.....show Sandman's origin and spidey defeating him. Despite JJJ and the daily bugle, the town is very thankful of spider-man for his efforts. Captain Stacey shakes his hand, and Brock manages to get a picture of it. The bugle isn't a top paper anymore because the other news papers have ridiculed JJJ and his son for getting dumped by MJ, which in turn makes her more famous. But Topher turns in this famous photo of the police captain and spider-man and JJJ hires him in an effort to get on top again.

Two Years later...

The rest of the story.

I think it should be something like that. Have an intro that takes place right after the second movie, and then have a time skip to bring us to the present.
