How often you go to the movies?

If you've perused this board long enough you know I love movies, I see an insane amount... Lately however due to college, most of my time is dedicated books like Jane Erye... So most of the time I only get to see movies in the theatre so I been behind with my foreign, classical, independent, etc movies... I absolutely love the movie theatre, I go at least once a week to see a film. How often do you go?

Only if something is good and worth watch latley, because i dont want to pay shocking amounts of money to see a crap film in the theatre, what i normaly do is rent 5 dvds at a time and watch them if i think they arent worthy enough for me to go out and watch them So if 3 good films open on a friday i will see them all in one week.

College Tuesdays and Wed. are only 5 bucks so it's cool If all the movies are absolutely crap then I won't see it, also my parents are deaf so anytime a movie is open-caption, I'll go with them so I end up paying for most of my movies at a discount of some sort.

I only go the movies if something truly excites. The Departed is a good example. This year, I'll be going more frequently than usual, but for now, I've been going pretty infrequently.

This year I've been trying to see at least 2 movies a month. Last month was Alpha Dog and Smokin' Aces. This month I plan on Ghost Rider and Black Snake Moan. Still not sure if the latter is even coming out this month though...

If it's something I want to see, and it looks good, not specifically from reviews but from what I see, I might go once every 2 weeks. But I have went 3 times in one weekend on a few occasions too.

I have a movie fund started for this year though. Going to need it.

It can vary a lot for me. I can see two or three movie one month, and then I don't go to the movies for perhaps one or two months. One good thing with these dull periods when there's only a lot of crap is that you instead can rent DVD's and catch up with more interesting movies you missed. Which happens annoyingly often for me, since I live in a quite small town and the cinema here usually only runs the big blockbusters

Normally every week. There are exceptions. If I feel that there isn't much out I want to see I'll wait until something comes out I want to see.

I use to go often. Now with a crappy job with a crappy schedule, a girlfriend, little money, and a side gig that sucks up time but pays pennies, I hardly have the time or the energy to do so.

As for me though... I have been going more often... but I should just go back to my old ways and watch the epics and the blockbusters instead of watching movies you'd only see on TV

This year I'm definitely seeing two- Spidey 3 and Sicko (if it comes out this year).

These are still maybes (Norbit, Black Snake Moan, Pathfinder, Transformers). But out of those maybes, I'll more than likely see one of them, and then rent them on DVD when they come out.
