How often you go to the movies?

This summer, I'll probably go every single week.

I guess I don't love movies because I only see the movies that interest me. Not a big deal to me. That's why I play videogames t:

If the trailer doesn't hook me, I don't go. If I read about a movie and it doesn't convince me to see it, I don't.

Then there are movies that you can tell will be crap, and it's stupid to waste money on it (such as last year's remakes of The Omen and The Wicker Man, to name a few)

Exactly. I see one atleast every 2 weeks, and then there will be times I see 2 or 3 a week(like in the summer)(for instance I saw Pirates twice on opening weekend and then that thursday night I saw Superman Returns.)

Same here. If it merits, I'll try and go once a week. Lately, I've looked at the movie listings and said, "blah, I'll pass." Ghost Rider and Breach are the only new movies that I wanted to see.

I usually go to 1-2 movies a year. Last year it was V for Vendetta; this year it was Pan's Labyrinth.

I just can't justify wasting cash on half this hollywood garbage...

At times like these, once every 2 weeks. I go once a week in the summer though.

But the catch is, I may see more than one movie when I go. Last summer, I saw 3 movies at the theaters in 1 day. Just saw them all back to back. Miami Vice, Super-Ex, and Little Man. But my record is 4 in one day.

Don't really know. It really depends on the season. During this time maybe every 2 weeks. But then by about May June every week. Then aug through like Oct every 3. Nov through Dec maybe every 2 then the process starts again.

I only go if there is something I wanna see, I'm not gonna go and see crap for the sake of seeing something,I have the time to go once a week if I wish. Sept-Dec I see alot of movies since that's Oscar season and of course if there is any good summer blockbusters...spidey,batman ect...

Basically from about 2000 although i have one from 1997 when i saw volcano The one for Hot Fuzz is missing off it (its in my wallet still) so i know ive been over 119 times in the last 6 years haha

It really depends on what's out. I make it a point not to see crap unless there's a specific reason to (i.e. Ghost Rider for Nick "Crazy" Cage).

I saw Bridge to Terabithia and Breach this weekend and enjoyed them both immensely.

I can't handle how self-absorbed and thoughtless crowds are now.
Kids wrestling on the floor right next to their mother who is having a fight with someone on her cell phone....mothers changing their baby's fetid diaper in the aisle....idiots narrating what we're seeing for no reason at a conversational volume level....******ed projectionists turning up the high end to painful levels or leaving it too quiet...

These are things with which I'm confronted nearly every time I go to see a movie.
So, I only go to the rare arthouse oddity in which I'm interested, where the audience tends to have an I.Q. to speak of, and the ones I've been waiting to see anxiously or that are really enhanced by a bigger screen, like the LOTR movies, Star Wars, Spider-Man, etc.

That's why I say my best movie experience is when I'm the only person in the theater watching a movie

Very infrequently these days the only time I go to the theatres is when my friends drag me along so maybe like 3x a year. Otherwise OnDemand and the wonderful world of the intraweb are my primary movie viewing resources.
