How to build up big armmuscles like Tom Hardy

I guarantee you he was on some powerful supplements. I remember Thomas Haden Church admitting to taking steriods for SM3 and he didn't even put on much weight, or really build much muscle at all. Tom put on more than 25 lbs in a few weeks.

On a side note I started taking Whey again, and have already seen a difference. Good stuff

In fairness, it was a bit longer than a few weeks. Tom was upset that he had to film Lawless with a larger build, despite the fact the character is supposed to be thin. Filming for that was in February, meaning he had already started the work on that. So he was working from at least February to May. Along with being able to do his work outs (specialised by P-Nut) as often as needed, along with a harsh diet.

He definitely would have used a bit of o'l filmstar's friend, but nothing too extreme.

Hard work and good diet.

Oh there's no question Hardy was on the gear. It's genetically impossible to go from 175 pounds to 200 within three months. The pimples on the back was no coincidence but it's no secret actors go on steroids to bulk up for roles. They have more than enough money to do this under a doctor's supervision for a period of time.

It's impossible to not see results unless you're slacking off somewhere. Are you putting in effort outside of the gym? Are you sleeping at least 8 hours per night? Drinking a gallon of water/day? Eating 20% over your maintenance level? Are you skipping gym days? Are you refraining from alcohol all together?

Once we find your problem/s I'll give you a new routine. But you have to be extremely strict, even if this means no partying, no bars, no buffets and no hot dogs at family BBQs. In bodybuilding its not only the arms but also in the head. You can't half do anything, you can't put temporary fun time over your long-term goals. Bulking and being healthy has to be number one in your life and everything else should be second.
I think I sleep too much. In the weekends I sleep like until noon, not sure if this is a good or bad thing...

I have not consumed any alcohol during this time.
And my main meals have only been 3 times a day - I do eat fruits and almonds between the hours. Not sure how essential the water drinking is, but I drink more milk than water - 3 glasses a day.

Another thing that I want to ask is if it's normal to get red dots/pimples on your arms when you're trying to build bodymass? Maybe it's some kind of reaction to too much protein?
I did not have these until I started taking proteinshakes and work out a few years ago.

You know i don't have a huge problem with this. Atletes roiding yes because they are cheating an actor is not competing with anyone.

Most of these acotrs are only doing this for a limited time so i assume the damage is not extreme compared to prolonged use. I think this is actually a dirty little secret of hollywood and may be exposed at some point. Sheen admitting to roiding for a couple of his films.

I'm against any roid use in general. But at least these actors are only doing it for several cycles under a doctor's supervision. But with sports, look at Overeem. He retired Brock Lesnar (from the UFC) and it turned out the guy was on the juice. I bet that really pissed Lesnar off.

It might be an allergic reaction from something you're eating. Unless you're shaving that part of the body and you grew a lot of pimples. If that's the case then you have to apply the appropriate lotions to heal the skin, since there isn't a single hair on what it looks to be your leg.

There's no such thing as sleeping too much in bodybuilding. But I don't let myself sleep longer than 8 1/2 hours otherwise I'll wake up feeling incredibly lazy.

Three main meals is good but make sure to snack between those meals. Are you counting your calories, protein intake, etc.? If so how many clories, grams of protein, carbs & fat are you consuming daily?

EDIT: This is my new routine, in case you're interested in using it. Unlike my previous routine this is more of a total-body routine that focuses more on the bigger muscles. Do this for 4 to 6 weeks.

Do this on Mondays and Fridays.

Dumbbell Bench Press - 1 warmup set, 3 sets. 7 - 9 reps.

Ab exercise of your choice. 3 sets, high reps.

Seated Dumbbell Shoulder Press - 1 warmup set, 3 sets. 7 - 9 reps.

Pull Ups - 3 sets to failure.

Barbell Low-Squats - 1 warmup set, 3 sets. 7 - 12 reps.

Do this on Wednesdays.

Regular Pushups - 3 sets to failure.

Laying Triceps Extensions - 3 sets, 7 - 9 reps.

Preacher Curls - 3 sets, 7 - 9 reps.

Calve Raises - 3 sets, 9 to 12 reps.

Dumbbell or Smith Machine Barbell Shrugs - 3 sets, 9 to 12 reps.

Laying Reverse Neck Curls (OPTIONAL) - 3 sets, 9 to 12 reps.

^^ I like to work on my neck just like any other body part but this one is optional. If you decide to try this out then be careful with your neck.
