How to keep the DCEU alive

I think they will flesh out the Batman side of the universe for a bit, and that will give the DCEU a good foundation to branch out.

I think Batgirl, Nightwing, GCS, and The Batman will all be successes.

I suspect we'll hear about the Superman solo, THE FLASH, CYBORG, etc shortly after JUSTICE LEAGUE unless the characters fail hard.

I wanted Snyder's Superman trilogy, not gonna happen. I think general audience will love the new movies like they loved WW but for me, the fun is over. I loved Snyder's take on the material. Now we'll get more "course corrected" films, which is something I'm not interested in. Still hope Wan can do something interesting with Aquaman.

Ditto. Man of Steel has grown on me over the intervening years - a lot. I loved Wonder Woman and I'm so glad it's such a success, but as a fan of MoS (and to a slightly lesser extent BvS) I would have liked to have seen more of his Superman. As for Aquaman I'm a big fan of Wan and I like Momoa so I'm hoping they deliver.

I'm sure those will do very well.

There's an outside chance Snyder could direct a third Superman film. Depends on how JUSTICE LEAGUE is received.

After BVS i think it wise not to put Snyder on a Superman movie ever again.Batman on the othet hand id be fine with

I think Snyder's directing days for DC properties are done. He'll likely only stay on as a producer moving forward.

I think they've found what works with Wonder Woman. Make strong, understandable central protagonists that we want to cheer for. JL seems to be in all sorts of production turmoil so hard to say what happens there, but they should definitely follow the Wonder Woman model going forward.

Right now I do think things look a lot brighter for the future of the DCEU than they did at this time last year.

Pretty much this ! Having a strong, relatable and above all else likeable main character is everything - that alone can lift an average movie to being a good one, and make an otherwise crap movie watchable ( e.g. Superman 3 and 4 ).

Pretty obvious the Batman is definitely happening and so will several other projects. The DCEU is alive and it was never even close to been dead!

Too true, all the financial the success these movies have had but this particular board needs a new bash DC thread every week.
DC just needs to make their characters more relatable to a bigger audience, and more likable and especially more talking for Superman. WB also really need to stop meddling after the fact, but there is nothing that needs "saving".
