Even though we have no idea what is the story of the 3rd film about, people can think of greats ways to serve as a opening to the film.

In my opinion, I would start the film by having police, Swat teams and etc chasing down batman...given that batman will be chased by the police...

Probably the comic booking flipping, followed by the DC logo, before cutting to... who knows. It'll be good though. I would love it if it starts out in Arkham and we find Harvey Dent locked up.

BB opened with a segment from the past. DK opened with a segment from the present. B3 might open with a segment from a future event and the film works its way up to that moment like it did with the Prestige.

Perhaps it should open with Bruce entering the fully finished batcave for the first time. Not action packed, but cool nonetheless.

Pick Up with Bruce finally moving back into the new Wayne manor, this would provide a combination of the first two movies openings with Bruce coming back to the place where he only really appreciated as a child. Have him go to alot of places where him and Rachel played, with a few flashbacks of them as children playing. Than have a quick shot of him looking at the well, which basically started his path to becoming Batman.

nice idea!

I could see if Talia al Ghul and the League of Shadows returned to level the city in another terrorist attack. It would already get the suspense going make viewers anxious to see how it all unfolded.

A lot of action sequels start with the hero saving someone or beating up a bad guy...this one should start with the opposite, Batman running away. It fits the theme better and would be an immediate reminder of the last film.

Nolan is using his opening scenes for theme cause/effect purposes.

BB - Bruce recklessly blunders in to something, in the process being instilled with fear. Falling in to the well, and beng scared crapless by bats.

TDK - Bruces "will to act" has had the effect of bringing on escalation. Joker not only shows he has moxie to knock off mob banks, he shows them he doesn't need to hide behind a mask to do it. He also lets one live to see him and let them know I am NOT fearful of you and were goin up a nothch mofos (Bruce has to hide behind mask to take on mob).

Exactly, I want a nice subtle beginning showing the batcave or wayne manor

I like the past - present - future idea.

Sounds artistic and what Nolan is known for.

Myself I would LOVE if it would start with a spinning liberty Dollar ;-)
Nothing more into that scene. just the Spinning coin on the ground and than it cuts into whatever the story will be.
I totally whant Two-Face in the sequel, escaped from Arkam or wherever and now is the thing he whanted to fight: an mob boss (like in TLH). That would be quite tragic and fitting for the dark tone of the new movies.

Then we see Batman fighting his once hope for leaving the batman persona and becoming a normal citizen again: Harvey.

I like that idea of starting it out with a bang although I also like the idea of it starting with a much more subtle way with the reveal of the new bat cave and or Wayne Manor. The future idea sounds ok just as long as they don't reveal something too major like the death of a villain or character like Angier in The Prestige.

Bruce going to Rachel's grave or his parent's one....don't ask me why !

It should start out with either Arkham Asylum or a chase scene.

The Same way TDK opened with Batman foiling a crime. Make it some minor villain. But instead of the Police arriving and talking to Bats, he has to run from them.

How about opening up with Batman bleeding badly in an alley down on the ground from having been shot down and chased by the police, with sirens everywhere dogs barking the whole thing, and right before they catch him he brings in the new batmobile.

A burglary scene at night with the shadow of a woman with cat ears ;)

I think that's a great idea.

I like this idea taht its set in the future and would be good if yeah we saw Batman weakened and beatened at the begining and flashback to what happened to lead to it.

No matter how the movie starts, I hope that it's fast-paced and exciting like the openings of Begins and TDK; as if you could feel the adrenaline.

How about a scene out of Year One?

Where a crime is going on, pan up to Batman watching for a moment, not helping... then have him look over at cops watching it reporting that Batman isn't falling for the fake crimes.
