I hope TDKR takes place some time after TDK. I'd say at least 4 months. I hope it starts with Batman this time around though

Batman's investigating a mysterious factory site where, unbeknownst to him, venom is being produced. He drops down into the building, fights Bane, and gets his back broken.

Batman is on the run from the cops. We have a massive chase scene of him leaping buildings, running down alley ways and etc. Meanwhile we see Selina Kyle jacking the Batpod and running off with it. After finally getting some room from the cops Batman arrives where his Batpod should be located, it is gone. He looks around, nothing. The cops are getting closer. We see Catwoman riding the streets in the Batpod. Batman gives a look of puzzlement/anger and as he hears the cops closing in he runs off into the night.

Clicking the electronic key fob for the Bat-Pod the entire time he runs off, hoping to hear the horn.

The generic idea I've always had, based on nothing but my imagination, is Batman escaping the police via batpod, in the Narrows, with rain bucketing down. And it ends with a spectacular stunt jump. Something that flows on tonally from the ending of TDK, to show that even though months have passed, this is still his reality. And he's getting worn down. He just manages to escape.

The opening scene could start with a depressed Bruce Wayne (because he's been on the run so long) hanging out in a strip club where he sees this charming exotic dancer in a sexy catsuit make eyes at him. Somehow, even though she seems sad herself because she has to endure this lifestyle, her smile revitalises and mesmerises him, and he's intrigued to know more about her. When he inquires about her identity at the bar, someone says "you mean Catwoman?", just using that as a nickname.

Definetely not gonna happen, Pfister already confirmed it's going to open with an action sequence like TDK did. And Wayne would never go to a strip club no matter how depressed he is.. that's just not him.

Whatever the opening scene will be, you can be sure that Nolan will wanna open this baby with a splash! He's gonna want to top the opening for the dark knight... and he'll succeed, I'm sure.

I hope not, that seems more toward-the-end-of-the-movie sort of stuff. Save the big stuff for the climax.

My money is on that. The stadium murder would be excellent, but he has to get to Gotham first. TDK's intro gave us the rise of the Joker - so I think we'll get the same for Bane.
