To start off, this is NOT a "The Nolan suits are better than the Burton suits, blah blah blah!" thread.

This is what I'm asking: would the suit from the first movie look better on Bale? I certainly think he'd have filled it out better, and it wouldn't have needed the sculpted muscles.

That said, I wouldn't want the Nolan movies to move towards something like the Burton suits. Nolan's suits are realistic armored suits, which is what they'd have to be in the real world.

it would look pretty good IMO! But I think the 89 suit would not look better on Bale!

I was watching BR yesterday and idk.. i really like the suit on Keaton and id like to see it on Bale.. why couldnt you just take the Keaton suit and throw armor under it like the Nolan suit?? I think id work...

It would look like a real Bat suit ...

...unlike what Bales been sporting for two flicks :oldrazz:

I would personally like to see a newly designed Batsuit for the next one...... something a little more like the one in the Deadshot piece of Batman: Gotham Knight.

well i actually i really like all 4 suits from B89, BR, BB & TDk.. for me they really capture Batmans look in the real world (imo) ;)
But again i think the Batsuits from B89 & BR look more like a Batsuit should look.. minus the yellow insignia... lol

I hope there is a new bat suit in the next film. I didnt like all that armor.

I'm sure there will be....I hope Batman decides that as the world is now against him, he has to be scarier.

The 89 suit is so pimp it would look good on Rosie O'donnell. Bale would rock it and look infinitely better than what he's been using for the last two films. He looks like a BMX racer wearing a dog mask. 89 suit all the way.

Batman wasn't more frightening in any movie than he was in TDK. In actions or look. His eyes looked so damn intimnidating in that costume. And while I thought the costume looked too busy in test pictures, on the actual screen the design was intimidating and imposing. Hell even in the shots he wasn't wearing it the thing looked imposing. For example check the scene when it comes out the ground in the bat-bunker. TDK suit owns all, to me.

I was hoping nobody said that, I just cant resist!

I think the Returns cowl was made to really set comfortably on Keaton's face...

The mouth opening is too wide for Bale's thin chin.

I know, looks weird because I kinda erased part of Bale nose in that pic. I need another picture.

I think Bale would look cramped . . .

I didn't say the TDK suit wasn't scary, or even the scariest. I said in the next film it has to be scarier. Kapeche?
