Which Flash would you use? Who'd be the villain/villains? What would your plot/storyline be? I'd love reading everyones ideas, So please come in and post.

I kinda like the idea of using Barry in the JLA movie, killing him off, and then having the solo movie about Wally taking up the mantle.

This might get me flamed but here goes. Wally, then bart, and some how wally, bart, and somehow the returning Barry to form the speed force. But what if one day we get a JSA movie: How will Jay Garrick be explained? Can't he be the first flash in like a prequal that shows him as the first and leads into barry being the flash in JLA?

The Flash may become a movie like "A Man who can run faster than a speeding car". I think we need to see Flash on a commercial supporting TOYOTA. That can get a Flash movie going.

If we have commercials to support THE FLASH that will be a big help to raise funding money to Warner Brothers. Here they are ?

TOYOTA
Cross Country/Track Racing Series
American College Sports Racing Series
GEICO Insurance
Celebrity Commercials

Same here.
I really like that rumor.
Damn shame that that story never worked with between Goyer and Warner Bros.

If they do a Green Lantern movie and also a Flash movie, they could introduce Jay Gerret in a Flash film and Allan Scott in a GL film.
Then later use the same actors for a JSA film.

I would start with Barry, and probably have it be before the JLA movie, so that they could show the origin.

I didn't like the idea of rushing out a JLA film before introducing each member in their own solo movies first. But I have to say, the idea of having Barry in the JLA movie, then killing him off in it so Wally can pick up the mantle in a solo Flash film is excellent. I love Wally (favorite member from the animated series), and think his personality would serve as a good foil to the serious, perfect icons that make up the rest of the league. But Barry is the "classic" Flash, and they would have to change Wally's comic origin (which is tied to Barry) in order to have him in a solo film.

I'm not sure The Flash can actually handle his own film. I mean, he's cool, he's that fastest man alive, and he's the wisecracking member of the JLA. I just don't know if that can be sustained for a quality 90 minutes of film. What I would like is to see The Flash star in a series of shorts before each DC comic film adaptation. That way you can have the fast pace The Flash deserves. You also get more bang for your buck in the movie theater.

The only problem I see is who should be the main villian?
I like the The Flash but come on, he really has the gayest rogue gallery of all DC heroes. I can't see Pied Piper or Captain Boomerang in a live action movie.
The only one I could think of would be Zoom aka the Reverse-Flash.

The villain of the movie must be able to hold his own against the hero. Therefore, a speedster like Zoom is the only thing I can see working.

However, Flash's classic Rogues could still be used. They could have a scene of him fighting a group of bank robbers consisting of guys like Captain Cold, Heat Wave, and Captain Boomerang (who the audience would immediately understand to be regular guys with gimmick weapons, and wouldn't have to be explained) half way through the movie, when Flash is still learning how to be a superhero.

Interpretation! ;)

Look at what they did with Toyman in Superman: TAS!

Hey, Captain Cold is NOT a poor man's Mr. Freeze. Oh wait, yes he is. I suppose given The Flash's villains, they could make it a total comedy with him facing off against Gorilla Grodd. Tagline: The world's fastest man takes on a hyper-intelligent gorilla. Blink and you might miss....The Flash!

That's why in the Flash tv series he only fought against real life criminals.
Sure, there was the Trickster (Mark Hamill), and I think there was even an episode that featured Captain Cold, but most of the time he was up against mobster.

The only way the rogues would work on screen, is if they drop the fruity costumes...

I would have Wally be the main Flash fighting 2 villains, possibly a weaker one like Captain Cold then as the story progresses introduce ZOOM and during the story show numerous Flash Backs of his time as Kid Flash with Barry. Then have Barry return in the end via Super Speed Time Travel to teach him one final lesson.

he should definitely fight someone who can present a challenge possibly the weather wizard or mirror master, someone flashy, but honestly all of his rogues are vastly outmatched by his powers. Realistically they shouldn't be able to roll with him at all.

Zoom should definitely be Rogue #1. That would be AWESOME.

apparently a bunch ofyou know nothing of the flash villains. zoom,Grodd, and top can all hold thierown against flash.

You think Flash has sucky villains? It depends on who's writing. Some writers have made even his goofiest adversaries in the past creepy and dangerous.

Barry Allen, already established as The Flash, is in the prime of his career. The movie would chronicle Barry Allen's death and him passing the mantle to Wally West. Eobard Thawne would be the villain, and the movie would feature time travel and revenge themes. It almost writes itself.

No matter how well you write it in a comic, a medium where such a thing can work, on screen it's still a man in a red unitard fighting a hyper-intelligent gorilla.

I would make a Flash movie using this costume:

Simply because its just so sleak and downright snazzy.

That costume sucks. I'm sorry, its just way too dark. Stick with the color scheme of the TV Flash costume, just make the material less bulky and add yellow boots. :csad:

He's not Deadpool, now. In persona, maybe.

Honestly, I'd love to see an updated retelling of "The Flash" TV series, more than a feature film. They could either use Kyle Gallner as Bart, or go older if they wanted to tell Barry's story (I never cared much for Wally West, and Jay Garrick was way before my time). In terms of casting, I know John Shipp is too old, but it'd be nice to have him in a few eps as a reference to the original show. I wouldn't mind seeing Brendan Fehr in the lead (he can do comedy very well).
