What I would have wanted in a nutshell: the Martian Manhunter comes to Earth, unites the other classic founders of the JLA - Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Flash, Green Lantern - to fight off the White Martians, ending with the JLA victorious and vowing to protect the Earth from the scum of the universe.

League: Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Green Lantern (Hal, have the solo film with Alan Scott and work up to other Gls like hal, rayner, and Stewart). Martian Manhunter, and the Flash.

Villians: Luthor and Brainiac.They could work together and form the L.O.D.

How it works: Lex Luthor despises the Man of Steel with a passion. Metropolis is his domain and some red and blue god won't stand in his way. Luthor plans and plans on a means to the kryptonians end, and soon his prayers will be answered. Someone has been watching over the earth, looking at those gifted with certain abilities that others do not posses. That someone is brainiac. He comes seeking assistance in the study of these mighty earthlings for his master(Darkseid). Brainiac picks the only human with enoguh resources, power and pull to get the job done(Luthor). Brainiac brings along a few friends to help in the combat study of these beings like Sinestro for GL, and and a few white martian buddies for MM. Soon, chaos reaches all over to places where people suffer. Wayne sees this as a threat and goes into his secrect files. He then pulls up a list of the whose who of the vigilante and meta-human world. The destruction reaches all over, so it gives Aquaman a reason to join in when it reaches Atlantis. When they join forces they will stand as the worlds last hope agaisnt the intergalactic and diabolical threats of Brianiac and Luthor. But, in order to get to them, the Justice League will have to go through their equals(L.O.D).

I know it might not be all that original, or might not even be liked, but that's the best I got. I know the brainiac darkseid thing is kind of like Galactus and Silver Surfer, but I wanted to keep Brainiacs alien origin. I know it seems like too much with White Martians and the L.O.D, but this will be a two to three hour movie so it seems like there's enough time to fit this in without messing it up. I set it up like this so Darkseid could be the big bad they fight in the end of the third movie. I wanted bizzaro in the movie, but there's already brainic and Luthor. Maybe Lex can aquire some of clark's dna and make bizzaro? I had it to end where they beat the Martinas and come to a stand still with the L.O.D so it could just be them in the second movie, against the JLA. Then the second one ends whith Brainiac sending the combat Data to Darkseid and he is the villian of the third movie.

That'd be perfect, IMO. It's simple, it's sure to have plenty of action and it gives a good reason for the League's existence.

{Plot}
Centuries ago, we're given a brief introduction of Vandal Savage and his history. He later grows to become the would be conqueror of Themyscira (which has just recently become involved with Martians who have supported them with technology). Vandal tries to seize their powerful weapon, but is stopped and hides decides to move on to other things for now. Modern time, Lex Luthor has recently been announced President of the US and Vandal Savage is Secretary of Defense. Meanwhile Clark has been having strange visions lately. He goes to have lunch with new friend Bruce Wayne towards the end of their conversation, it is revealed to the audience that their secret identities are known between them do to a previous meeting shown in a flashback.Clark tells Bruce about the dreams, and as they get stronger, they go to investigate. Meanwhile, Ambassador Queen Hippolyta and her daughter Diana Princess of Themyscira are contemplating the US on whether or not they should become allies after it's existence has been revealed long ago. During this, clips of Wally West just retiring his Kid Flash costume and helming the new Flash costume are shown , as well as clips of fight pilot Hal Jordan whom already has his ring but doesnt know exactly what to do with it.
Superman and Batman go to investigate the dreams and see that they are coming from the Martian J'onn J'onnz. They help him escape a government testing site and he tells them the story of Vandal Savage after discovering that the man wants to try and open war between Themyscira and the US to retreave the weapon.
Superman and J'onn (now in a different form) talk to president Luthor, who has already had a talking to with Vandal the two are secretly already working together making a Doomsday Weapon to take out all opposing nations and ultimately take control of the world. The president starts war between the Amazon Island and begins rallying troops and he also drafts Superman, J'onn and Wally West joins the fight. Joining them as well is fighter pilot Hal Jordan, with the power ring of course. Upon reaching Themyscira, they're attacked by scouts one being Princess Diana.
Meanwhile, Batman is busy battling Vandal Savage who has begun breaking out a number of criminals from prison to help him as he double crosses Lex to seize the weapon for himself. the heroes on Themyscira are defeated and quickly return, with Diana following. They all apologize for the battle, and then they talk. Soon, Lex brands the heroes as traitors to the country and wanted men and women, including Diana. After meeting up with Batman, they figure out they must band together to stop the war.
The Amazons declare war, and when Diana declines helping, she is branded a traitor as well and the heroes then begin to fight both sides. As war finds its ways to the U.S. Hal dons a costume created by the ring blending in with his fighter pilot suit, and Diana creates a costume out of the American flag to gain trust. Later on, she's mistakenly dubbed "Wonder Woman" by some old folks who watched her save a civilian .Vandal makes it to Liberty Island with the Doomsday Weapon, but Batman and Wonder Woman intervene, and are temporarily knocked unconcious by hidden goons as he finally takes control of the large doomsday weapon. As troops from both sides are defeated, Vandal enters the seen and powers up the missle, powering it up slowly but as fast as it can. Green Lantern notices the weapon powering up from the corner of his eye knocks out the person he's fighting quickly and fly's to it. Flash and Superman rush to the White House to impeach Lex cause of his actions they enter to find that the Oval Office is empty suddenly Lex pops up and attacks Superman with a robotic glove powered by kryptonite knocking him unconcious. Cut to Green Lantern rushing for the weapon, he swoops to the torch of the Statue of Liberty (cut to slo mo cam) he pick's off Vandal sacks him off the Statue of Liberty Vandal falls to his demise on the ground of the island. Hal quickly realizes that he forgot about the weapon and fly's back only to see Batman has already disabled the missle. Cut back to the White House where The Flash is circling around Lex punching him furiously in every inch of his body he stop's to gloat in front of the door then suddenly the door swings open and knocks The Flash in the back of the head one of Lex's secretaries came to see was he alright "Ouch" The Flash said distracted by the bump to the head Lex notices this and uppercuts The Flash and he soars to the wall outside of the door "Thats gonna leave a mark" he says jokingly and then passes out. The Green Lantern and Batman arrive carrying Wonder Woman who is still unconcious Lex notices them through the window and flees to the secret Presidential escape underground the White House Green Lantern notices Flash lying unconcious in the hallway and go's to try to wake him up. Batman sees that Lex is not in the Office and figures he would most likely try to escape through the presidential train underground but is baffled on how to catch him "I can fly after him" says Green Lantern but Batman says that he would be far gone as soon as he gets down there because he's traveling in a bullet train. "I can catch him" says Flash just awakening "He thrashed the suit now it's personal" then he zooms off chasing after the bullet train. Cut back to the office "Thats some kid" says Superman just awakening Wonder Woman sigh's just awakening as well back to The Flash comming up on the train he leaps for the back door misses, trips and tumbles he gets back up "Gotta catch that train" picks up more speed than before and grabs onto the back door handle enters the train and makes his way to the front. The conductor informs Lex that the back door hatch has been opened and someone else is on the train so Lex turns the tables by shutting off all the lights on the train confused The Flash looks around and walks calmly and protectively just to be safe he makes his way to the front of the train to see that its on auto pilot and the conductor lying in the corner then Lex surprises Flash with a gun to his head "Lets see how fast you really are". (Cut to slo mo again ) Flash ducks and dodges the bullet, grabs the gun from behind him, twists Lex's wrist so he drops the gun, and kicks him to cause him to fly backwards and hit a table knocking him unconcious. The train then stops somewhere near Washington (the state) where The Flash uses the CB radio to contact Batman and tell him that everything was fine and he was on his way back with Lex Luthor. In the end, the heroes are awarded medals and Lex Luthor is impeached and thrown in a maximum security prison. The Vice President then takes his new position as President Peter Ross then presents the new team to the world as the Justice League of America.

How would I do a Justice League film?

Simple, I wouldn't, it would work better as a one-off TV series of say 13-14 one hour episodes, more time for story and character development. Excuse the pun but a film wouldn't do it justice.

I wouldn't do one, but If I had to....

Massive intergalactic threat coming to earth, being pursued by the GL's, and thus bringing together all the heroes that way after most of the GL's are defeated.

Line up would be GL, Superman, Flash, Spectre, MM and aquaman.

If you want, I'll post up more thoughts, as I have nothing else to do right now....

“JUSTICE”

OPENING SEQUENCE
ECU on a fight scene in the blackness of space. A hand ploughing into flesh of some description, irradiating a green glow, intercut with a few titles.

CUT TO:

An ELS gazing through space, green flashes in the distance. Titles appearing on screen also.

CUT TO:

CU of an alien ‘Green Lantern’ being punched from the attackers POV, sending the alien lantern careening off into space at great speed. A glint of green in the distance approaches and impacts, too fast for us to see clearly, this creates a loud power chord in terms of sound as it cuts to titles again.

CUT TO:

ELS of what appears to be a glowing green meteor, bursts of energy rippling off as they spiral through the cosmos as tremendous speed. However all this is free from digetic sound, only a light music track sounds, representing the emptiness of space.

CUT TO:

ECU of the green lantern and the mystery opponent fighting, unable to make out much except the intensity of the struggle.

CUT TO:

ELS the two are nearing the outside of our solar system, they travel past a few planets and disappear into the sun.

CUT TO:

ELS, other side of the sun, a green flare emerges, enshrouded in flames, surging through space.

CUT TO:

ELS of Earth with tiny green spec approaching in the distance, very fast.

CUT TO:

ECU of the two fighting again, the background is just visible as we see it turn from black, into an atmosphere, which causes the effect of them burning up. The camera moves to follow a raised green lantern’s fist, on that fist is a green lantern’s ring, whilst sky is in the background.

CUT TO:

Sharp cut to an ELS looking across the plains of what appears to be a rural country, this shot is a direct continuation of the last one and all we see is a green flash as the two smash into the ground in the distance, simultaneously with the lanterns punch, which we don’t see, but editing suggests. A large sound echoes outwards as the ground itself is ripped up by the high speed impact, even though we are positioned some distance away, the crater expands outwards towards us.

^I actually thought that would've been the initial budget for a movie like that. But it might just be around 100 or 200 million.

Yeah, that should be enough to get Bale and Routh, aswell as make a good movie. it's not money it's talent. If you can have good fan movies on youtube there's no reason you can't have a good studio movie.

Well to put budget in perspective Superman Returns cost 270 million tomake.

The reasons it cost so much were due to the amount of people and production work on it.

Cut out the big names, go for smaller actors who people don't know, cheaper and are more likely to be the characters rather than just superstars.

SFX, a lot of them were uneccessary. Have actual items rather than CGI, so you use pyrotechnics etc.

But still even if you cut out Kevin Spacey you still have people that arent that big of names and even the ones that are slightly larger than Routh like Penn didnt get paid that much. If only one character cost that much to do,a huge Team movie with many characters that reqiure great effects the price just keeps getting bigger.
