oh yeah i know...the last part about Fox doing it for X3 was a joke. But I did really like the zombies, and it seemed to work. I know a lot of people around campus talked about it and went to see the movie because of it.
yah, for resident evil i think the idea was very clever

OMG that's brillaint! Good on her! Love the bit with the little Queen Amidala kid.

Haha!

I could see Halle trying something like that, maybe Hugh would do something.

How would you promote X-Men 3?
  • What would you do with the next trailer?
  • What films you you have it attached to?
  • Which magazines would you give interviews and do deals with?
  • How would you go about TV marketing?
  • Which shows would you put the trailer between?
  • What big events would you use?
  • What would you do with posters? Where would you have them?
  • Which shows would you try and get the X-men cast on?
  • Would you do anything else?
I did this for a bit of fun. The marketing machine is slowly starting up and we will soon see how FOX will do things. But how would you go about it?

Well first of all, I'd get at LEAST 100 of those absolutely enormous, building sized posters of Wolverine and get some perminant glue out across the nation...

I'd ask FOX to release the Wondercon posters so the normal folks/fans can purchase them.:)

Even better, they should just give them out to whoever asks for them with no charge. :p

I'd start with the posters - worldwide. I have yet to see any X3 posters in my country. :o Secondly, I'd go with trailers, commercials or whatever tv commercials they can come with. Thirdly, bus posters.

* What would you do with the next trailer? Epic
* What films you you have it attached to? Every one of them
* Which magazines would you give interviews and do deals with? Empire, Wizard, TV Guide, every one of them
* How would you go about TV marketing? Trailers and TV spots 24/7
* Which shows would you put the trailer between? 24, Lost, Desperate Housewives, Smallville
* What big events would you use? Any football matches
* What would you do with posters? Where would you have them? Everywhere in New York, put huge posters on buildings there. I'd have them on buildings, walls, faces or whatever
* Which shows would you try and get the X-men cast on? Lost, Smallville
* Would you do anything else? Bus posters, pictures on frontpages of every newspaper

:p

Ha, I'm going over-the-top here. :D

I would do a 'got milk?' ad like this...

Couldn't really come up with a tagline. Any ideas?
