Sorry. While Deadeye is quite awesome, he'll always be #2 to Howard.

This one-shot is too awesome for words. I really can't wait for it. These Civil War tie-ins are really kicking ass.

Goddam that picture is scary. Why the **** does everyone look so screwed up?

The because being in the very presence of Howard The Duck fills them with such awe and mortal terror that their whole bodies contort into insane shapes as they **** themselves repeatedly.

What the hell's wrong with Howard the Duck?

People insulting Howard have more than likely never actually READ Howard, and so they do not know his genius

And unfortunately due to the first impression visual nature of the character that automaticly makes people assume he's akin to Donald or Daffy Duck, as well as the craptacular George Lucas film which had nothing to do with the character whatsoever, insults from the unknowing are inevitable every time he is brought up

you've read the MAX miniseries, right Question?

I own it, but for some reason I haven't gotten around to reading the whole thing. I'll probably finish it some time soon.

Hey, I told you, I've been wading knee deep through Virtigo's finest. And whenever I buy a new book I tend to ignore it for a day or two before I finally get around to reading it. Hell, I'm going to read it right now.

You NEVER argue with Elijya about Howard the Duck. It's a rule. ;)

I actually read about this. It's a 48 page one shot by various writers involving how some "other characters" react to CW, basically Howard the Duck, Gargan-Venom, U.S. Agent, Iron Fist, and the all new Ant-Man, who debuts in his own series in November. Yes, CW has officially been milked to death, but it's not like that wasn't apparent before. CW: X-MEN has so little to do with CW, it's not even funny.

It looks interesting, I'll probably give it a shot.

what IS happening in CW: X-Men anyway?

X-Force broke in and took the 198 away. The X-Men didn't want to prevent their fleeing because they didn't want any more mutants to die, and plus, they seem to finally be getting weary of the obviously rascist SENTINAL ONE project. So "founding four" decide to follow the 198 and make sure they find them before the Sentinal Squad does, and protect them. The Sentinal Squad's commander, Gen. Lazer, is an outright bigot who is working with the SHRA side, as is Bishop (along with Micromax and Sabra). When they finally find the X-Men and the 198 holed up in some ex-Nick Fury base (that Cap knew about, hence allowing token Iron Man and Cap appearences on panel to justify the crossover tag). The Pres. was about to add mutants to the SHRA and thus Bishop really just need to sit there and wait until it becomes law and not fight anyone, but Lazer has employed a mutant with ghetto Puppet Master powers to control Cyclops and provoke a fight against Bishop.

It's more of a sequal to THE 198 and DECIMATION stuff than a CW extention.

I wouldnt say that barely qualifies, but its still something. At least the original x-men are doing something together that isnt simply a retread of their origin story.

I stopped reading after issue #1 but Bishop's justification for following the side of the registration seems odd to me. I wouldn't have thought that he of all people would side with the sentinals so to speak. It almost seems like he's helping to bring to pass the timeline he comes from. Anyway, I do like that the originals (minus Jean of course) are doing a mission together.

Sorry but I am more excited about USAgent....I love USAgent.......Soooo What's the deal with this Omega Flight anyway?
