He hasn't been able to do Ultimate Wolverine vs. Hulk because the scripts aren't done. The lateness of the book mainly lies on Lindeloff.

Oh, I agree. I'm pleasantly surprised that at least SOME X-Men aren't going to knowtow to the SENTINAL ONE anymore and even risk beating on some of the pro-SHRA people in the process, and what irony that it's the remaining founders of the X-Men. Even if Beast looks like some kind of panther/bear hybrid.

I'm enjoying it so far.

I stopped reading after issue #1 but Bishop's justification for following the side of the registration seems odd to me. I wouldn't have thought that he of all people would side with the sentinals so to speak. It almost seems like he's helping to bring to pass the timeline he comes from. Anyway, I do like that the originals (minus Jean of course) are doing a mission together.

Well, since Cable is the "emotionless soldier from the future who is ANTI SHRA", I guess they figured they'd make Bishop the "emotionless soldier from the future who is PRO SHRA" to have an opposite match. Considering I don't care one whit about either "character" (and I use the term loosely), it didn't bother me none.

let's assume the book does fairly well and does 40,000 copies.

at $3 apeice, that's only $120,000

but, comic retailers take a 50% profit (estimate) so really only $60,000 goes to marvel

but wait, there's the diamond distribution fee, plus cost of physical production as well as payment for the artist and writer, along with the inker, editor, colorist, etc., so Marvel itself really only makes a fraction of that

couple million? no where close
