Days of Future Past Hugh Jackman IS The Wolverine Thread

What is that?

It's the marquee of a movie theater where The Wolverine is playing in St. Louis. James Mangold just retweeted it from a fan.

"Who Am I?" was one of Hugh's big songs in Les Miserables:

A picture of a cinema that's showing 'The Wolverine' and another film 'Who am I!?' (the Jackie Chan film I believe). It's funny because it looks like 'The Wolverine' is answering the question that's also the title of the other film.

Edit: Scratch that. Looks like I may have slightly misunderstood. I haven't seen Les Mis, so I wouldn't have gotten that joke myself. lol Also I was typing this before I the other responses were posted.

Saw a similar one awhile back:

:funny:

I dont want it to happen because I loved the character too much and I wish they'd keep coming out with films featuring Wolverine forever and ever. But I feel like since Hugh Jackman isnt getting any younger we might be seeing his last few appearances as the character on the big screen...I dont think thats neccesarily bad thing either, what better way to hang up the gloves or *ahem excuse me claws than to give him a honorable death for a greater cause in DOFP. It'll be the last thing the general audience expects and it'll make Hugh Jackman's Wolverine that much more iconic and legendary. From then on Hugh can retire his jersey and pass the franchise on to younger actors/actresses who can keep the X-Men films going.

I have a feeling this could be the big final film for Hugh Jackman's Wolverine. With the inevitable changes that will occurr in this film, it could play out that Logan has to sacrifice his ties to the X-Men completely to save the day.

Hardly.

Not when there's already whispers about X-Force.

I'd like to see his powers toned down like they are planning to do in the comics. Which admittedly does seem in reaction to The Wolverine's plot, but that part of the movie didn't necessarily have a lasting effect and was just there to compliment the plot that was going on at that moment.

I think someone else said it on these forums that Wolverine is potentially Hulk level unstoppable (though I think that's far more true in the comics than the movies). I would argue it would be better for both Wolverine's character and give the action real tension if Wolverine actually had to worry about being torn to shreds and not having his wounds heal almost instantly.

Can we assume that Wolverine won't have his [blackout]adamantium claws[/blackout] during the future scenes of the movie, or that we'll at least see them return?

hhh, I find these type of pics disgusting.

its not sexy, either funny, at least to me.

But props to Hugh for such a hard work, for sure!

His workout routine makes me tired just looking at it. It was the same with Henry Cavill in MOS.

Wow what a beast...For him to be able to deadlift that considering what his frame looks like when he's not in Wolverine form is amazing.

Fair play to him he is putting it in for these latest films, he was an absolute beast in The Wolverine. Those sentinels dont stand a chance.

I was proud of myself for going on a five-mile bike ride today. I come back here and see that, and sheesh...what the hell was I doing today? :wow:

I bloody hate those shoes though.

On the other hand, dat body... :awesome:

I saw people wearing shoes like that at Disney World. I keep hearing that they're comfortable, but I just don't see how?

A girl I work with wears them. She says they're comfortable and you can barley tell you're wearing shoes. I wondered what it feels like walking across gravel though. She says they still protect your feet.

That's what I keep hearing. Just seems so weird, though. I may just stick with my Wolverine sneakers. :oldrazz:
