But I share that joy with you, of course. :yay:

I'm too lost looking at Hugh's body to really notice this whole bone claws vs adamantium claws argument :O:awesome::hehe:

Wolverine meeting hippy Xavier for the first time is going to be so much fun.

"Two years later, and the police were still finding body parts all around town."

So is it mostly agreed that Logan is doing the time-traveling because his healing powers allow it?

Yes, and there's also the fact that his mind is going back into his 1970's body. So the person time traveling has to have been around already in the 70's, which eliminates people like Kitty, Rogue, Iceman, etc as possibilities. They're too young.

Looks like adamantium to me, clearly. But be that as it may, I absolutely love that neck-stab. Necks should be stabbed more often. From that short clip, getting angry about being shot at and then...stabbing a guy in the neck/shoulder area, I got those X2 school attack vibes where Wolverine was absolutely awesome.

Singer says they're bone, guys.

"He doesn’t have his metal yet in 1973," confirms Singer, which places this movie before the events of X-Men Origins: Wolverine, and Wolverine's first meeting with a man by the name of William Stryker, head of the Weapon X programme. Here, Stryker (previously played by Brian Cox in X2 and Danny Huston in Origins) is played by Josh Helman. And we're intrigued to see how Magneto and Wolverine get on now that the former can't make the latter behave like a puppet on a string...

If so, then...fine, because the bone claws don't look as ugly as before. And yes, I try to be aware that it's a 0,3-second clip I'm watching.

So is this basically Jackman's swan song? I keep hearing that this'll be the last for him in the role and frankly he's earned a retirement after doing the role 5 times already.

So if he arrives in his body before the events of Origins:Wolverine. Could it be that it doesn't end up happening at all? Knowing Logan, he would probably opt to avoid meeting Kayla at all to avoid her death and the rest of the misfortune that befalls him in O:W.

Obviously not, only if you buy this "this might be the last movie that I will play the character" stuff.

I've heard a lot of actors from established franchises say that and 2 years later, they were back in the sequel.

I think Jackman is good for atleast 2 more adventures. I definitely think he is returning.

Were any of those actors so long in a single role though(14 years once the film hits)? Or have made so many films playing that role(6 and a cameo)? RDJ's getting close(# of films-wise) but now he's got a big 2-year break between resuming his role. Other that SLJ as Fury(who honestly mostly does cameos) there's no one comparative to Jackman as Wolverine in this genre. At some point soon, the guy's just gonna say enough is enough and let someone else give it a try.

Recasting Wolverine or turning him into Cable? It would be neat if he returned to 2023 and the future is worse? And he is Cable.
Then we get an altered universe OT set present day which leads up to another sequel set in 2023, Age of Apocalypse... Because otherwise if they have an OT sequel would it be set in 2023 or what

Of course he's gonna stop playing Wolverine at some point. But I doubt it will happen next year, when DOFP hits the theaters.

Breaking out my Wolverine sneakers and doing my happy dance! :awesome:

Wolverine 3 should be set in Russia, Yukio NEEDS to return, and the villains should be Omega Red and Spiral.

I'm thinking Omega too. And if it doesn't involve Yukio, then what's the point??
