How do you think they will portray Hugo Strange if he was in the third movie?
Would he still be corrupted like in the comics? My opinion I think he'll join everyone in the man hunt of Batman, but with corrupted intentions. How do you think they will portrayed him " if he was in the next movie"?

Hugo Strange would be very cool in a Batman film, but I don't know if I'd want him in the next one. There are other characters that I would much rather see in the next film.

He should be physically fit and manic, like Wagner's stories and not like BTAS' fat mad scientist.

John Malkovich should be Hugh Laurie.

I always wanted Kingsley...but maybe...Bryan Cranston?

Tom Hardy would make an amazing Hugo Strange. If you can't see it, watch Bronson. He even has the bald head and glasses.

They should portray Hugo Strange as the new head psychiatrist of the rebuilt and more creepy and eery Arkham Asylum.....simple.

He should be played by Ben Kingsley or Robin Williams.

maybe he can be like dr. cavendish in a serious house on a serious earth? mastermind an event that looks like a patient riot, because he read amadeus arkham's journal and history, believing batman is the spirit of insanity, "feeding the house with maddened souls", and in the end, try to kill batman, but gets killed by joker or a psychiatrist like in a serious house on a serious earth.

I've mentioned several times here that I'd love to see Strange on screen. I think him being a psychologist brought in to understand Batman and his motives, interviewing cameo worthy villians and ultimately becoming obseesed with Batman would be a cool concept for a movie.

I think combining Hugo Strange and The Riddler would be a good combination.

Superb idea.

The Riddler as a psychiatrist, you mean? I'd rather Strange as portrayed in Wagner's Monster Men and the LODTK arc Prey.
The more I think about it, the more I like Strange as the villain.
1: Great mental challenge for Batman.
2: Fits in with the idea of GCPD employing someone to crack Batman's ID.
3: The Monster Men can provide physical opponents that aren't SWAT team members.
4: From Nolan's point of view, a realistic villain that suits this version of Gotham.

I would geek out just for a Strange cameo. He could be a guest on Gotham Tonight as the foremost expert on Batman. :word:

Nice one! While I may be in the minority of those who feel Strange could be the main antagonist in a sequel, I'd be satisfied with a cameo like this.

I've been working on a Hugo Strange Batman fanfilm project for years. I'd love to see him as the main villain in a Batman film, but I just don't see it happening.

Christoph Waltz as Hugo Strange. That is all.

Robin Williams as Hugo Strange played as Bruce Wayne's psychiatrist that inadvertently discovered that Bruce is Batman, tries to auction his identity off to the mob and finds himself fighting for survival in the underworld.

I can think of about 15 batman villains I'd rather see on screen before hugo strange.
