Ok, so it's not the worst hangover EVER, but it's still there lingering in me.

Why oh why did I drink that amount, when I knew the EXACT consequences. It doesn't help that it's a really hot day and stuffy.

Poor me.

And just how much did you drink Lee? Should you give the answer in Galleons?:p

But the main thing is you felt good yesterday.

Don't you have to like....stop drinking at some point...in order to get hungover?

jag

I don't know how i do it but i seem to be immune to hangovers :yay:

I don't drink much anymore. this was the first time I'd drank like that in a month or two. I only had about 6 pints but my limit is not as much as it used to.

I have had a hangover every time I have ever had more than one drink. Even when I was 17 and supposedly at prime 'boucne back' age... And my mother never had any sypmathy either.

I stopped getting hungovers when I stopped drinking

haha. I think I regret starting this thread...hahaha.

Makes me look like a drunk, which I'm not....anymore.

I can't believe you started a thread about being hungover and didn't mention the drink(s) responsible.

What's your poison?

See you're problem wasn't drinking too much, that didn't cause the hangover, it was the point that you stopped drinking that puts you in this position now. My advice, don't stop drinking, no one likes a quitter.

I can't believe he'd make a thread about a hangover period.
If I had made a thread everytime I had a hot, stuffy hangover the internet would've cracked into tiny shards.

I see other problems:

-he didn't take an aspirin or alka-seltzer before going to bed
-he apparently didn't have a nice meal the night before
-he didn't balance his alcohol intake with healthy servings of water, which help during the subsequent dehydration process that is known as "hungover"
-he stopped drinking

Lee, you are the Lindsay Lohan of the UK. :o

Why do people drink more than what they can take?
Why do people ask stupid questions like this?
You know very well that alcohol has anesthetizing effects while intoxication is in effect...that it can create euphoric feelings and alleviate stress....and when combined with it's well-known tendency to impair one's judgement, the intoxicated person often thinks, "Well, if one drink made me feel THIS good, then TWO would make me feel even better!"

And then, feeling even less pain on their second drink, in conjunction with with the erosion of any sense of long-term gratification, and the aforementioned impairment, they mis-reason that if two drinks made them feel THIS good, then THREE would make them feel even Better STILL.

You know certain people are born with these proclivities, and that they can be exacerbated by environmental factors.......and you still ask this stupid question.

Why do people ask stupid questions?

I've had hangovers that weren't so bad when I woke up...and no matter how much water or gatorade or whatever other cure other than asprin or alka seltzer that I use to combat it...they still get progressively worse than when I started the day. Those creeping/lingering hangovers are the worst imo.

Two Advil taken with two full glasses of water right before bed does the trick for me, every time.
