I got them a few days ago. Overall I really enjoyed it, but I feel that toward the end it got kind of convoluted...I love the tone that Jeph Loeb sets in his writing and Jim Lee's art is amazing. Thumb's up overall.

I really enjoyed Hush, although most people were disapointed by the ending...I have the single issues, 2 of which I also have signed, both hardcovers, and will get the Absolute version someday :o

I can see how some were disapointed by the ending. It was a great read though. I flew through them quickly. Having signed issues is cool! I was once in a WB store where they had a Batman TAS cell signed by Bruce Timm and I didn't buy it. D'oh!

I have the single issues as well, it was a great read. One of my favorites.

I gotta say I always thought that Bruce Timm's female drawings were cute...but Jim Lee's Talia "Head" is HOT! LOL! I love the way he draws female characters.

his Lois was even better...reminded me of Terri Hatcher in Lois and Clark

Yes, I forgot Lois Lane!

Why can't all women have legs like that.  :)

I read Hush last month and loved it to death.
I'm saving up for the ABSOLUTE book :)

Yeah, I can't wait to see him draw Mary Jane Watson someday!

Long Halloween and Dark Victory were much better.

Yeah, I agree. I liked the ending too and Riddler looked really cool in that book. Lee draws the best Riddler.

I loved Hush. I read it while my brother collected the single issues and when the Absolute version came out I bought it later on.

I bought it mostly for the art, I have the single issues, the hardcover TPB's and the Absolute edition.

Definately! I think his Riddler looks exactly like Jude Law.

Yeah, I though so too. I like the idea of Riddler as a pretty boy more then as some...well whatever it is they do.

I think Hush is great for the art, and has some fantastic moments, like the AMAZING Superman vs. Batman, and Batman revealing his identity to Catwoman and bringing her to the Cave (fanboys have been waiting for that for a long time) but its greatest weakness is the story. Its has a great buildup, but then it falls flat. Harold turning against Bruce? I loved the supertechnologically advanced Batman, espeically when he is taking out thugs in the first issue, or using a holographic computer console, but this got a bit stretched with Batman's cowl having built in gas to disable anyone who tries to take it off. I wanted more than just a 12 issue series with Batman's villians appearing one after the other. Unlike Knightfall, TLH or DV, in Hush it almost felt like "oh, time to have Ra's Al Ghul show up" oh "time for clayface to show up" Yes, the art is AMAZING. Lee has some GREAT action sequences, especially when Catwoman chases Harely on the stage of the Opera house, but it also got a bit tired as well. "Oh, its another anatomically bizzare pornograhically posed woman." "Oh, its a profile of Batman again." Hush is very entertaining, worth the money if you bought it, but flawed.

What is officially going on with Hush in the comics now? And for that matter, what ended up happening with the Catwoman/Bats relationship? Did they ever get back to it?

The last we saw of Hush was Hush Returns...which basically official killed the Gotham Knights series. It sucked ass...I swear only Loeb should have been the one to start off writing with Hush in Gotham Knights since he created the character. Then when the character was more established as to his goals after Hush a new writer could take over...that character had so much potential. Just like when they brought back Jason...then Nightwing OYL comes around and messes that up with a different writer with a wacked out vision for Jason.

I'm not sure about the Bruce and Selina situation at the time.

I think Jason was the only good thing about that Nightwing arc...

They should really just X Hush Returns out of Continuity right now...

You'd think with all the hate for it, that would've been one of the things to go in the IC aftermath.

That, and Leslie Tompkins: murderer.*shudder*

They should do the same for the first arc for Nightwing OYL.
