Hype Survivor HYPE SURVIVOR 19: Creepy on a Whole New Level - DAY 11: Day 11

I don't care, I was just wondering. I don't want to speak for everyone else.

I personally would like the weekend off. My dad has come back to visit me and the family because my birthday is next week and he won't be able to stay all week. So I would like to spend a little bit more time doing work, homework, spend some time with non-Internet people, etc.

Since it's a 24-hour challenge, Monday mid-morning would be a great time to start it... thanks for the weekend off.

alright, I'll start things up monday then since both H_H and Kipobe would like the weekend off.

and Jewhob is still flipping out on me via PM. :csad: He seems to fail to grasp the concept that he broke the rules and thinks that I simply booted him from the game.

Matt doesn't care about Hobbit people.

:csad:

The thing is, I can see his point, but I also see it as, he has all these penalty votes against him, but it can only be used in the event of a tie? Bull****. He could go through the end of the game and win with 7 penalty votes against him and they would have never been used.

The way I saw it is, he broke it the first time and I let him off fairly easily. The second time, I had to do something to give the rules some teeth, otherwise why even have them?

Pretty much. Like I said, he could get 150 penalty votes, and they would never have been used. I dont think ties are all that common in the Survivors I've played in at least.

There has been one this game and it was only because of that assinine situation Teddy created.

Well, I'll have the majority of Monday to try the challenge... good

I'm not mad that you punished me. I broke rules (unintentionally, but nonetheelss. I'm not even mad that you kicked me out. I'm mad that you, as a host, refuse to be a host and own up to your own mistake. I'd be mad if you did this same thing to any of the others and I were still in the game. You make rules, you keep rules. If you fail to clarify a rule, then you fix the rule, and if need be, further the punishment, but to just kick me out (because that IS what you did) is bad hosting on your part. You set a rule, then made up some rules and stretched other rules to send me home... yeah, that equals just kicking me out in my opinion. Also, what host goes to the players to help decide of someone should be kicked off? Keep in mind, they're those players that are trying to win and get people kicked off ANYWAY! Of coarse they're going to push for me getting kicked off. And one of them is Erz? They guy who would go home if I stay, and seemed to be worried that that would be the case even before the votes were revealed? That's just stupid. That's why I'm mad, you were a bad host. Your way of handling the Teddy situation also sucked, equalling two bad calls in a row. In my opinion, no matter who wins this game, it's a tainted victory because they most probably wouldn't have won otherwise.

Eh, but I don't care anymore.

I can see your point on this, and I agree, but Matt should have realized that when he made the rule. He should have made the rule something of more teeth, such as have it dealt more with Immunities and such. Each post is the amount of days where I would be ineligable to win an Immunity. That makes more sense to me, but that's not was Matt decided, not that what Matt decides matters, because he doesn't keep them anyhow (because votes are suddenly differant when amassed, even though they're still votes, because no one else actually voted, and now it means something else, though they're still considered votes... yeah, you got me too)... but nonetheless.

Actually if you saw some of my earlier posts in this thread I said you should have stayed.

Anywho, Matthew you starting the next day or what?

This is just about as wild, crazy, scheming and tight as the real Survivor. :ninja:

Cool :yay:

QUIET! ALL OF YOU!

They're approaching the Raptor fences.

The problem is Exile Island is not a form of immunity and it was never stated to be such. You were not eligible to be voted for in tribal council as it was assumed you are not there, however, as made precedent the last time you broke the rule on day 9, a penalty vote is aquired for each time you post while in Exile. You aquired 5 penalty votes. That was the majority, therefore you were voted off. Its really simple.

New day will start some time this afternoon.

And the Pentalty votes weren't applied in the councel, thus, you broke that stipulation when you applied them to this councel. You changed the rules.

And on an unrelated note: I just put up this big picture of Carrie Underwood in our living room with hearts around it and a note saying "Jew's Next Wife, Carrie Hobbit" (Substitute "Jew" for my first name, and "Hobbit" for my last).

I'm going to see how long it takes for my wife to notice :)

How do you figure? The penalty votes were applied once. There were 2. The majority vote was 5 or 6. They weren't enough to make a difference and thus I tacked them on at the end as to not throw off the count. They were still votes used against you. In the case of a tie you would have been seen as having 2 votes against you in the day 9 tribal council.

And whats amazing me about all this is how you refuse to take any responsibility what so ever. You broke a rule. Not once, not twice, but on 7 seperate occassions. You knew it was a rule as you were disciplined for it in the past. Yet you seem to ignore that. It is just big bad Matt picking on you. Get over yourself.

Don't mess with the bull, you'll get the horns.
