Hype Survivor HYPE SURVIVOR 19: Creepy on a Whole New Level - Day 14 - Meet the Exiles Part Deux

Matthew, how many submissions are we waiting on?

I could've beaten Clerk most likely. My chances against Slipknot were 50/50. I would've had to convince the jury that Slipknot was as much responsible for their being there as I was, even if he was the more silent of the two. But that would've taken away my chances as well as they would say "Well, doesn't he deserve to win over you, then?"

Clerk, I have always been under the impression that he would've stepped aside for me like he did for Slipknot. Plus, if nothing else could be said about Erz's game, he had an absolutely great jury who looked at who played the better game and not necessarily the one who did less backstabbing as juries in the past have done. I think those two factors probably would've given me the win over Clerk. But in all honesty, I just didn't feel right voting out either Slip or Clerk, because after Phere's betrayl they were the only two who had been loyal to me the entire game despite my ties with the other tribe...so I went they way I did and don't regret it.

That's the same way the jury was in my last game. kypade had made more friends, had the better sob story, and screwed over nobody (except Brodie?) first hand... he hid safely behind the smokescreen of Tuk and CLW, and managed to actually stay around through challenges and not alliances...

But he also didn't work as hard as I've seen him do in previous games, and when he faced CLW (even though she had pretty much backstabbed everyone... or at least a good majority...) she beat him in a landslide because everyone knew she worked harder for it. That's a good jury.

What was the whole Dathphee thing about? I keep seeing people say he was a terrible ally and not to be trusted, even though I think he's only played in one game?

Darthphere and I allied, basically on the first day of Erz's game. There was a four way alliance with myself, him, Socrates, and Corinthian. We had control over our tribe. When Erz did a tribe mixup we were seperated. I still helped him out and vice versa (I even saved him from being voted out by Toven's lackeys when our tribe won three challenges in a row). Socrates betrayed the alliance and Corinth was practically nonexistent in it, so we sort of dropped them and replaced them with Slip and Clerk (who I allied with to ensure dominance over my new tribe).

So, at this point, with Socrates trying to get back on our good side, Corinth not doing much but voting as we said, and Lensherr sticking to the 'tribe loyalty' thing, the four of us ( Phere, Slip,Clerk, and I) pretty much controlled the game. We were going to go to the final four and then battle it out two on two (Phere and I vs Slip and Clerk).

Well, around the final 8 or so...Phere won three challenges in a row and voted out Corinth as I instructed. All was going as planned. Then, the next day...he decided to target me. Socrates informed me, and Slip, Clerk, Socrates, and I voted him out with a majority vote of 4 to 3. The only reason he gave for doing this is because "he wanted to shake things up". So yeah...he backstabbed an alliance that would guaruntee him the final four (and considering his ability at challenges, probably the final two) simply for the sake of "shaking things up". What makes even less sense is, he could've voted me out the time he had won three in a row and could vote anyone he wanted. Instead he waits until the following day when he THREW the immunity challenge to try it. A lot of his actions just didn't make sense.

It still perplexes me a bit to this day, because there was really no reason for it. I could get if Phere were in Socrates' position where he knew he was the odd man out and would be on the chopping block soon, but he wasn't. He was the exact opposite. He was sitting pretty and in all honesty on the road to winning the game. I'm fairly sure because of his involvement in the strategic aspect and his ability in the challenges he would've beaten me, Slip, or Clerk...and yet he made this move. And I'm still to this day not sure why.

I know... there's a lot of players that just make you ask "why". Not like the days when everyone had an agenda, and even when you didn't understand what they were doing, it was usually as part of the greater goal to win the game... but now it's all back/forth/up/down/left/right.

That is why I would probably never ally with Phere again. At least with some allies who backstab you, when their motivations are rational and for their benefit you can anticipate it, plan around it, etc. With someone like Phere all bets are off. THey are unstable players who will do things simply for the sake of doing them. You can't control something like that. It is just a burden on your strategy.

Hippie Hunter: War Journal, Day 18 (Day 14)

The final five has finally approached us! Ghost of Kipobe, Ghost of farmerfran, Immortalfire, Erzengel, and myself. To beleive that I once was the first person voted out of my tribe (second over all) in the last Suvivor I participated in, I have now lasted longer than 75% of the participants. To boot it off, I'm the healthiest one on board due to my stay in the Jury Island's Hospice. My spirits are up, even though food and water continues to be scarce. However, the burden is a lot easier to take on account that two of the participants are ghosts and I am back to full health. I let Immortalfire and Erzengel have most of the food that we gather because of it. The Hotel at Jury Island must be dead on account that the only member of the Jury that is not dead is Brodie and Matt excercised the ghosts that were not participating in the game (the ones on Jury will be called upon from the grave when the time comes).

Because JewHob died after the spirts were exercised, his ghost is still around wandering the area. He's rather annoyed that he's dead and the fact that he got booted off the game because Matt decided to use his penalty votes against him this time around.

You know now that I think about it. The death toll in this game is rather high. EL ASCENO, Spider-Nerd, TEDDY, Calvin, Socrates, Kipobe, Venom Drool, farmerfran, enterthemadness, Asteroid-Man, StorminNorman, JewishHobbit. You think a game with a 60% casualty rate would end as soon as the first deaths came. But noooo, apparently this death fest is good for the ratings. Matt told us that this is the best Survivior in terms of ratings in years!

Matt came to our camp around 11:00 AM to tell us our challenge. He had some facts about the former players and told us that we had to figure out which fact matched with which player. I'll have to admit this challenge was a toughie. I came in second place with Erzengel winning immunity.

It turns out that the ghost of farmerfran is an *******. While on the beach, he led Immortalfire to a bunch of so-called shrimp next to the shore. 'fire, who was still suffering from hunger grabbed them and ate them on the spot. It turns out, that they weren't shrimp though, they were little plastic Barbie and Ken pieces that were discarded in the ocean a long time ago. Surprisingly it took 'fire a while to notice that when he saw the heads. Five hours later, Immortalfire died from massive hemorrhaging in the ass. It's beleived that while crapping them out, the plastic Barbie and Ken pieces cut his anus up severely, on top of his malnutrition, hunger, and dehydration, he bled to death pretty quickly. We buried him in the graveyard, but decided not to hold a service. We're getting sick of funeral services. Because of Immortalfire's death, we decided to not hold Tribal Council on the fact that we would have voted him out anyways :o.

You were in it in the last entry. Due to your major f**k up on Day 13, you were sent to the bowels of Hell, two entries ago. But you attempted to escape last entry. Satan's minions captured you at the Jury Island Hotel where StorminNorman was. But you wouldn't go down alone, you dragged StorminNorman along with you to become your sex/rape slave.

Not only that, I think you've been mentioned the most in my War Journals :cmad:

I don't think Norman would voluntarily be a sex slave, so rape would be the one.

Book of Fire, Day 14.

The Final Five are ready, and I'm still with 'em. I hope they appreciate the fact with me around, they never had to struggle to make a fire. :yay:
I wept for Norman, getting dragged down to Hell with Teddy's screw up. The fact challenge was most interesting, some things I had never even connected in the past. Weird how you learn something new everyday.

Fran and I nabbed some shrimp off shore, but it turns out they had been put there to fool us. They were actually little Barbie & Ken plastic shrimp..what kind of fiend would do something like that?

Burn Baby Burn. 'fire

Well, I like you guys enough to drive to my office computer. Time for the results.
