Hype Survivor HYPE SURVIVOR 19: Creepy on a Whole New Level - Day 17: THE GRAND FINALE

I made a great Stone Temple Pilots banner. But it got rejected :cmad:

It occurs to me that this game was exactly the same as the one where Kmack one, except Erz didn't screw Kip over. Hooray for Erz:dreamy.

1. We already figured this out... welcome to 12 posts ago :cmad:

2. The Presidential campaign was fun... and even though the outcome wasn't extremely important, it was the only time Erz and I were really in competition. We both fought against each other for egos sake alone, but in the end it really didn't matter since Erz wasn't here for the end of it and my win was without a vote for Erz voting for himself. Thus, my ego only half won. :csad:

3. I hate saying stuff to Jewhob because he always responds with a 2,500 word essay. Can someone give me the gist please? I can't sift through all that. But know this, Jew... I'm a good ally to my true allies, and I know you are too, so if the sun one day aligns with the moon just right, then I say we get this shindig on. I screwed you over no more in this game than you did to me in Tuk's game. But in reality, thanks for the memories. You were tough to overcome, and you and hippie were an amazing duo.

So I just read Jew's speech:

1. My wife doesn't know I play Hype! Survivor. She'd probably mock me. I respect that you can tell your wife. That's awesome!

2. Totally watch Ocean's 11, dude. Totally.

3. If Erz had gone? I dunno... I'm all about rebounding. Before a decision falls I look for every technicality and loophole. It's sometimes all that's left... it's what makes the greatest lawyers the best, because you think it's said and done and then they pull out a precedent that changes everything. It's kinda why I wanted to be a lawyer. But if that scenario did fall JUST like that I suppose I would've gone for winning immunity challenges and then re-inlisted fran. With fran, I could show him he was a pawn in your scheme, and maybe we could've gotten 'fire too. If not, you guys would've had to have voted out someone, and if I could make it 'fire then I would've gone for another immunity and you would've been gone in a tie. I don't like being forced into a corner... I'm very competitive and I'm extremely lethal in tight situations... that would've been by far NOT the worse situation I've been in and wormed out of.

But I pride myself on being vengeful... so, yeah... I would've outlasted you. However, I don't know how. But I WOULD HAVE outlasted you. From there it would be an issue of seeing who I would've wanted in the final 3: hippie or fran. Anyway...

4. You weren't an enemy of ours, Jew... myself and Brodie both wanted you to stay... we said so all the time. Brodie never wanted to vote you off, but it was business. We weren't actually planning on doing so either... the original plan was for Erz to win three immunities in a row and vote you off single-handedly... (he was on the path to do it... he had won two). If Teddy never got in the way (he hosted on the third day) then you would've never known it was us who ordered the hit.

But we didn't want you gone, and when Brodie looked like he was out, I spoke to Erz because I was happy that I didn't have to lie to you anymore. That way you could now exert all the energy you invested in playing one way into playing OUR way.

As for your "earning your keep" statement. You did earn your keep... but it was on a different path to me. When you knew the truth you had a decision to make, either one would've left you with a valid reason to continue... you chose one and it backfired. The other way would've guaranteed you a final 3 spot... and I don't think anyone would've questioned your right to be there.

It's almost insulting what you're saying because it's as if you're questioning hippie's right to be in the final 2... you don't think he deserved to be there? He played well the entire game with challenge assistance. Light on the strategy, but he was learning. We utilized his allies, and when we decided it was time for him to go he fought like a champion to stay in.

We hadn't decided it was your time yet, Jew... and it wouldn't have been any time soon with Brodiebear gone, but you took the first step. I came clean and told you the complete truth... I can't see how that's the same as total disloyalty since I did actually admit it all. Granted, much of what was done up to that point was a lie, but only because I had a path to the finals mapped out from the start and much of what you wanted to do was in opposition to that. Once I let you in, you had enough power to hang me, or make a genuine path for yourself. You chose to hang me, and that put you right back outside. :down

F'king Teddy.

I actually didn't like the idea at first. I thought bringing someone in this late in the game was asking for trouble. I would have preferred to keep our alliance on the down low and went from there. But I went with your judgement because you trusted him.

So I just read Jew's speech:

1. My wife doesn't know I play Hype! Survivor. She'd probably mock me. I respect that you can tell your wife. That's awesome!

Oh she mocks me, she just mocks me and then gets into it herself.

2. Totally watch Ocean's 11, dude. Totally.

I did, once, a long time ago. Barely remember it.

Oh I wasn't belittling Hippie at all. I deserved where he was, but the end result was what I would have been the same as.... overwhelming votes for Kipobe, few for me. In my opinion anyhow. I knew you had made a good jury and I knew that your hands were mostly clean of their getting booted (directly anyhow). I'd have to do some major convincing, and while I think I could have done a decent job at it, I don't think I could have beat you.

I think the disloyalty part came from learning that my entire game was rigged by you and I was just noise in your ear (so to say). I respected your admitting it to me, and that's why I had no desire to vote you off and still wanted to work with you. I agree that it was a rough call I made, and if you legitly would have voted me out and overcame me I'd have no problem with it and would have said well done. The crappy call is what makes it bitter for me (not your fault, mostly mad at Matt and myself in that situation).

And I also wanted to say.... I've sounded kinda whiney for a while and I suck for it. Don't mean to sound that way, but I realize I have. My appologies to all.

And I can't help but to write novels. It's the dang DTL and Contest of Marvels debates... they've ruined me :(

Ahem. Rigged by us. :csad:

I hold no ill will towards ya Jewie, heh like Chewie. :yay: You are a great player seeing as you made it to the Jury 3 times already. Hopefully next time we can actually be on the same side. Just get to me early.

Jew's a great ally, honestly. Either the last game I played in, or the one before (can't remember) I stood opposite Erz, and Toven and I saw Erz as a threat who we strategized hard to get rid of. I think it was dumb luck that allowed us to eventually pull the trigger (something like Tuk switching up the tribes, or something...), otherwise we wouldn't have succeeded, at least not so easily. That's why I wanted him as a coworker here.

It's the same with you, Jew. I see you as someone who can definately stand up and make the hits as oppose to a watery alliance, and maybe down the line we can do this. As I said to SN via PM, every game has it's own flavor. You never use the same weapon(s) twice, and past precedents get thrown out almost immediately because it's just that: the past. So, no hard feelings, and let HS20's Day One be a whole new ball game.

And if I hadn't said it before, Erz was a brilliant ally. That was half the joy of this game... working with someone so competent and loyal. He beat out my and Brodie's past #3's by a mile!

Lastly, Matt is only 25? In all these years, I assumed he was older than me. Now I find out he's younger? My e-world is in a shambles. :csad:

That was I believe Tuki's Survivor.

Our team was Alok's Rape and it was me, Toven, The Lizard and rogue_devlin (I had to look it up.) but of course Toven being more popular, she was able to have majority over everyone and I was voted out. :csad:

I could only imagine the horrible things she said about me :csad:

She didn't like you. We both cursed your name for many days, I still do on my bad days. She wasn't very fond of Kipobe either, but I assured her he was okay. I'm cool with him, she's mad he won. She was rooting for Hippie. She's a shy quiet girl, but get her mad and she gets feisty!

I'm definately up for it. I tried this game, but Brodie told me he didn't trust you and Kipobe ignored the idea  I thought about just trying to form a side alliance with you anyhow and work you in eventually... not that it'd have done anything, but I thought about it.

And to you and Kip, was I really the only person who realized you two were allied before the end? Kip mentioned that in our Aim conversation and I thought that was hard to believe. I thought it was long obvious.

Cool beans.

Must be nice working with someone competant... I'll have to try it sometime ;)

Nothing wrong with 25 year olds :) And here I thought you were just a little punk kid. Never can tell with people, can you?

Hey, I was on that team too, and Kmack. We were the people in the background that no one heard from until the end when people realized we were actually playing (and by playing, I mean doing whatever Holly told us).

haha, thanks for coming to my defense as well :cwink:

I'm not saying that Kipobe's victory wasn't deserving, it absolutely was. He taught me a lot in this game, even though he did try and get rid of me. And now all I have to do is get rid of my damn principal of no sneaky backstabbing.

If you had a game of GAH, Asteroid-Man, ETM, GhostRider, etc. I'd have no problem with manipulating them :hyper:
And I'd have no problem with being manipulated ;)
