1. I'm not arguing that it's a good roster. Just that the "not enough power" complaints are gettin old.

I'm not complaining about that, the team is obviously meant to be weak. But I do prefer the Justice League and Avengers to be uberpowerful

2. I'm one of the few people who doesn't believe an Avengers team should contain any of the founding characters.

An Avengers team has to have Captain America, Iron Man, or Thor. They're like the Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman of the Marvel Universe. It's a damn shame Marvel doesn't treat them that way though and replaces them with Spider-Man, Wolverine, and the Hulk

Agreed. I didn't jump on the bandwagon till Disassembled so I've always wished for a more powerful team.
