Since superman vs hyperion/sentry/thor is never gonna happen most likely in continuity, I thought of the next best thing...

Marvel's ''homage'' to Superman, Hyperion, vs Sentry!


We have seen Hyperion/thor plenty of times and it always seems even, but sentry is alledgedly more powerful than Thor (note word allegedly), and is probably the most powerful hero in the MU.

At the height of Hyperion and Sentry's powers, who would take this and why?

I would love to see this fight, as well as sentry / thor.

The most powerful I have seen Hyperion is his evil self in exiles, where he creamed everyone on his planet from thor to galactus to the ff, and it took two alternate good hyperions to stop him.

Supreme Powers Hyperion is the coolest Hyperion by far.

And I just don't know enough about Sentry's powers to say. All I know is that Sentry is super strong and can fly. Can he emit any energy blasts or anything? I read the mini but still learned nothing.

Based on feats, Current Sentry has yet to show he is as powerful as Supreme Power Hyperion, IMO.

Well he did apparently fight galactus to a standstill, and he is the only hero who can stand up to the void, who dismantled hulk like he was northstar.

Your looking at the cosmetics, super strength, flying, energy blasting, but honestly that's about it.

Superman's weakness is kryptonite. He has a villain in a super smart human Lex. He was an alien that came to Earth. He has frost breath and lasor vision, and so on, you know Supes .

Sentry weakness is himself. His villain is again, himself. He was born on Earth and gained powers from a hyped up super soldier serum. His powers are still being explored, think he can shoot energy from his hand, fly at the speed of light and all that junk and of course the infamous but vague "Power of a million EXPLODING suns".

It's easy to say Sentry's an exact clone til u dig at the surface and see their barely alike. I admit Sentry was probably supposed to be MU's Superman, and still kind of has that status. Thing is he's not a celebrity in the MU like Supes is in DC, not the same powers, costumes different, got powers differently, villains different, looks are different, and Sentry caused some massive damage which is why he was locked away.

Not saying Sentry's better or anything as they've done next to nothing with him, and he hasn't had Superman-esque feats yet, just saying their not really incredibly similar as everyone makes them out to be. Like I said above, only thing similar other than flying and superstrength is that status of most powerful over the top Earth hero.

Now see that's where you're wrong - Sentry actually is a full-blooded kryptonian from the planet Krypton. The Void? Lex Luthor mind-trick! No, seriously.

Lucky for DC, they got the son of Jor-El that wasn't a whiny *****.

And that Hulk thing was lame. Jenkins wrote the Hulk like a two year old moron. He also used a characterization of the Hulk that hasn't been used in years. Hulk these days would have gotten pissed, stronger, and said an awesome one liner right before kicking the voids ass.

Come on! Hulk didn't even fight back in that issue!
