Who could take the Maestro?

I was thinking, Maestro took out most of his universes heroes, including Silver Surfer and the 'mighty' Thor, so I was thinking...who would be able to take him?

I have a few ideas....

The Sentry would trash him, I think, and probably Hyperion...but that's all I could personally think of.

I dont know if the Sentry would "trash him"... and im one of the few who digs the Sentry. Id say he has about a good a chance as SS or Thor would.. well depending how his day is going.

if you teleport him from the Future Imperfect timeline and put him in the current 616, i would say he would beat anyone. he did it already, technically( i know, some heros where killed by the war n whatever. but survival of the fittest, he won) plus, hand to hand, no one could match him. (the wild man was his only competition and he was a total FLOP!!!!) the sentry is powerful but hulk gets stronger and stronger n i feel i would snap him in half if the sentry got caught in his grasp. hyperion is strong, but hulk is the strongest there is. and if superman somehow popped in there out of nowhere, he would get his neck snapped too. even the surfer was dead in the future imperect, so whatever. I love maestro, and i dont care if i made no sense. all i know he was the last one standing

Hyperion would get his ass kicked. Did you miss that stuff I posted in the other thread about Thor wiping his ass with Hyperion every time they've fought? If Thor couldn't take the Maestro, Hyperion certainly has no chance.

That he may be in writing, but everytime i see him his powers fluctuate dramatically...hasnt it been said that his powers are similar to Gladiator in that they are connected to his emotional state (not his confidence like Glad)? Hence why i said if hes having a good day...

Yeah, the Sentry's powers are dependent on his emotions, according to the recent mini.

Remember, the Maestro has genius intellect and has no problem fighting dirty. Hey, he might even pull out the Forge Anti-Hulk gun and shoot them to death.

The only one I have seen is the Hyperion who has a scared looking Thor helpless in his hands....and the other two who showed up seem very powerful too. So the 616 version must be pretty puny in comparison...

So so far, it's just the Sentry (and maybe one of the alternate reality Hyperions).

What about teams though? I would say probably The Exiles original line up could take him, maybe even others up until Mimic and some others got killed/lost/etc. Maybe the Astonishing X Men and current FF at Sue's powerlevel....New Avengers maybe?

Seriously, people explained this in that other Hyperion thread like three times. The Hyperion who appeared as a member of Weapon X in Exiles was a much, much more powerful version of Hyperion than pretty much any other reality's. He's the exception, not the rule. The others are all around the Gruenwald version's power level, and Thor's kicked the Gruenwald Hyperion's ass on numerous occasions.

As for teams, the Defenders would be my pick for taking the Maestro down. He beat the Silver Surfer and his younger self, but could he beat them, plus Namor, Dr. Strange, Valkyrie, and others at the same time? I'd guess the answer is no.

How about... th Orginal Avengers. Hulk (and he was sorta smart back then), Iron Man and his transistors, Giant-Man, Wasp, Thor... if you want to cheat, you can throw in Genis since he used to hang with Rick Jones

That's just it, we know that there was a war and that that reality's Hulk beat a bunch of heroes. We don't know how, that's why I see this thread as semi-pointless because you can pull stuff out of your ass and just say "Well, he beat them because he was the only one left and he SAID he beat them."!
