Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Hypothetical question: Fitz

So... our heroes eventually figured it out and saved the day. And it occurred to me that if Fitz hadn't died, they'd have a spare Fitz still in cryo and what do you think would have happened at that point? Would they have forgotten he was out there? Would they have gone to find him and then had two Fitz's? I'm just curious how the team would have handled this problem.

Thoughts?

They could have turned future/current Fitz back in his evil alter ego and still have present Fits be good.

Enoch figures out that Robin's prophecy was wrong and returns frozen Fitz to earth. Fitz has to deal with his already time looped double actually marrying Jemma and goes on with his life like Bill Riker in the TNG episode where he, as the transporter accidental double is rescued.

Hopefully the thought to make frozen Fitz turn Hydra in the real world and not just the Framework could be resisted by the show runners

This doesn't work, any more than it does not work as they are planning to "re-acquire" him in Season 6.

This is like the Terminator problem/paradox; John Connor would never have been born to send his father back in time the first time.

If they broke the loop and stopped the earth from being destroyed he wouldn't have been inserted into the cryotube and sent into space.

Here's the kicker. Are Fitz and Simmons really married? I mean, once they retrieve the Fitz-cicle, he did not say "I do", so I would say no.

This doesn't work, any more than it does not work as they are planning to "re-acquire" him in Season 6.

They broke the loop after Fitz went into cryo. His body doesn't just disappear in the cryotube just because they stopped the Earth from cracking this time around.
