I can't wait for this movie. Ghost Toasies is gonna rock!

I think it was decided that it's going to be called Ghostie-O's...

Who said Ghostie O's? theres Ghostie O's?!! where where? tell me where dammit!!!!

what? (Biggun talking to someone offscreen) really?
oh....youre just talking about "Ghostie Os"...ahh...ok.......
Nevermind :)

Well, now that we know BIGGUN has lost his mind, who's next?

well i lost my mind a longgggg time ago.....im just a good actor :)

that you must be. You had me fooled into somebody who knows what they're talking about. As an actor myself, got any tips?

wow

all we need is that iron man forum and we are all set

LETS HOPE THIS MOVIE DOESN'T SUCK

Spidey once called GR "Ghost Toasties" and that's been my favorite nickname for him ever since.

heh...hey you can still be crazy and knowledable at the same time right?
but to be honest i cant say its due to acting skills that get me by....its really the multiple personalities. 123 1/2 the last time i counted....cant remember the 123 but the 1/2 is a midget wrestler from Mexico who goes by the name of Juan....
and yes i am joking folks...or am i? heh

It's hard to tell when crazy people are joking. I think I met Juan once, by the way. Nice feller.

1)Nic Cage is a massive star, like him or not (I Do nice choice MSJ)and people whether they are fans of the character or not will always go to see a big star's movie.Just look at Will Smith he took a book(I Robot) that nobody outside of hardcore SC FI fans had ever heard of let alone read and it made a ton of cash. Now i know someone will say it wasn't a proper adaption but that's not the point. The point is people go to see movie's with big star's in them period.

2)people have been looking for a kick ass virtually invincible hero since T2(lets not talk T3 it was OK)every hero in the last decade+ has been either conflicted or confused etc where GR is pure of purpose LIke Arnie In T2.

3)Just wait till they get a look at GR onscreen, fans and general audiences alike are gonna go Ape****.

IMHO:) :ghost:

That, and at the end of the day, everyone LOVES a good motorcycle movie!

I believe its going to be a big hit also.:)

I have faith that it will. :)

I gotta say, I'm looking forward to Ghost Rider more then I am to Spider-Man 3...and that's saying alot. Here's hoping GR will be a sleeper hit.

This, I think, is more important than Cage or the concept, even. Ghost Rider has always been one of Marvel's most visually striking characters. If they manage to pull off the look convincingly and accurately, I've always felt that it would draw an audience in.

Truthfully, Cage is a bit of a liability as far as American box office goes. His last few films haven't made a lot of money. The effect of Cage's star power on a film goes up and down a lot - kind of like Travolta. We'll see how National Treasure does, I guess. The potential is there for Ghost Rider to be successful, I think - even though it's a character virtually no one knows about.

I don't think we have to rely on Craptional Treasure to prove Cage is the right man for the job. Two completely different characters there and plus, I doubt Cage is as big a fan of that character as he is Ghost Rider. That'll make all the difference.

There are die hard Cage fans out there that won't miss this movie and there are die hard Ghost Rider fans that won't miss this movie. That's a healty audience in itself. Then, factor in all those people that are going to say "HOLY ****" when they first see the character on screen. Those people will flock to the cinema.

I think Johnny Blaze is on the right track saying this could be a sleeper hit.

Just a thought off subject the GR forum is the best one on these boards i have just come off the Superman and X men boards and they are like schoolyards, full of childish name calling and big head know it alls.I joined the boards for intelligent and friendly disscussions on marvel and dc characters (I'm not a hater) but a lot of the time i run into the above problems.anybody know why the GR board seems to have the most comraderie? i mean i am a GR rookie and have got lots of Info and answers from both Flamehead and BIGGUN(thanks guys) but on the other boards it's more about i'm right and your wrong or iv'e been here longer than you so i know best.Anyway keep up the good work GR fasns and lets keep this board positive:) :ghost:

Yeah, so far this little section of the hype is turning out to be very good. No arguments yet some really friendly debates... lots of information sharing... tonnes of interest. It's fantastic.

I guess it's mainly because there are only a few of us here... and most of us have been talking of nothing but Ghost Rider since meeting. I just hope that when others start falling for ol flameface that this place doesn't turn sour.

If it's too dark, we wont be able to see anything. Ha.

I think that it will do either Daredevil numbers or right around that territory.

That's a very reasonable early projection - although I'd imagine Sony would like to hope for at least another $50 million added to that total. GHOST RIDER should cost as much if not more than DAREDEVIL to film, so they've got to bank on at least $100 million domestic, IMO.

This movie has the most potential of nearly any marvel second and thierd tier property.
