I liked the movie well enough. But I certainly had a lot of problems with it. My biggest problem was the utter lack of plot or a good villian. And everything else just felt like a rehash of what had been done before in various turtle 'verses over and over. I am disappointed that THIS was the best they could come up with. I've read fanfictions that are a million times better written AND have believeable, decent plots that wipe the floor with this movie.
The movie's biggest flaw was the lack of screen time and attention given to Donatello. Him being in the movie is virtually pointless, and Mikey doesn't really DO anything, either. It's sad, given how much potential both characters have to be just as amazing as anyone else in the TMNT Canon.
For what it was, though, I CAN enjoy the movie. And despite it being repetitive, the family moments in the film are great, and the Leo vs Raph fight scene in the rain was beautiful.
