I don't see America getting a female president any time soon, unless it's Hillary. And even that I have a hard time envisioning.

It is strange, that we don't see more women running for president, as there are certainly some qualified female politicians already out there.

Well, I guess you had Michelle Bachmann... but I wouldn't exactly call her qualified.

*shivers* I would take Palin over Bachman anyday that's how terrible of a candidate she was to me. I always thought Condaleeza would have made a fair president, but only after she had more experience in politics. Then all that went out the window during and after the Iraq War.

Hilary seems to be the closest we'll ever get to one, unless the Democrats or Republicans magically find someone. I hear Ashley Judd's available.
