Right there at the start, there he is with nice pointy teeth, looking awesome. And that's not professional hollywood cgi - that's friggin' PHOTOSHOP!

Then again, the black suit was incredibly easy to do as well, and yet somehow they already screwed that one up.

Another interesting bit from the old AICN spoiler summary - I just looked over my saved copy of it, and I found that the spoiler actually DOES mention that the teeth on Venom were going to be small, pointy yellow jobbies that were going to be done as practical prosthetics. Hmmmm. That lends even MORE credence to this disturbing report.

For those of you who missed out on the infamous AICN spoiler summary before Sony had it pulled... well, basically, the fact that Sony demanded it be pulled down AND the fact that it gave a perfect description of the black costume before the first photo was released tend to make it definitively accurate.

Maquettes are created in pre-production, so sadly that doesn't really answer the question of the current status.

This may be a bit off topic, but I need to know if there will be a Spidey 3 trailer at Superman Returns.

Also, I'd like to point out that these movies (Spider-Man) won't go up until like 50, they'll be 6 and only 6, or thats what I've been told. There not gonna have every villian in these movies, so it does kinda make sense if they do kill Venom, or rather Brock. I know, it makes me angry that Brock might bite it, but hey, things gotta be done, and maybe for the right and the better.

By the way, I'm not a Venom hater, hes my favorite villian, and Carnage after that of coarse.

From the descriptions, I think we're going to get something similar to this:

I actually wouldn't mind getting this venom. It gets the point across easily and we still get some fangs! We have to learn to deal with the fact that we can't all get the venom we want, and that in a movie where we have to look at this stuff with a bit of reality, we can't have big fangs and a huge tongue and what not. Sure, I would love to see that, but the movie going audience as a whole would be pulled out of the experience.

I don't know anything about "lakiamai." I have no idea who did this Q&A. But I do know that Sony had it removed from AICN. I doubt they know what's going on on these boards, if indeed it's the same thing.

Lakiamai is the original source of what appeared on AICN. It appeared originally right here on SHH. Someone associated with AICN then posted it there. Sony did NOT have it removed from AICN. That is just cyber urban legend. AICN has never claimed this. Not only that, but Sony does not have any authority to do so. Think about it. Some people really need to stop being so gullible and believing everything they read. Use some common sense and intelligence.

I stand corrected. AICN is stll a BS site. Making a statement like that only inflates their egos, it doesn't mean that it really happened. Now, if they can provide a copy of the check that Sony gave them as "incentive" to remove it... then we might have something (you don't really think AICN took down something that would be beneficial to their site because they're a bunch of nice people, do you?).
