I'm personally not eager about the possibility if they plan on following the same direction set for the character in DoJ? But if they steer him towards the direction of his comic book counterpart, I would prefer that.

But, still... I can't help but feel it's a bit too late? Lex already established a social image to the public as Zuckerberg on LSD, so it'd be a tad bit hard to redefine himself in the eyes of the public.
