Actually that was my suggestion when I first heard several soap operas were going under. At the final episode tie up as many plot lines as you could, even if they don't make sense, make everyone have a happy ending then have the big bad of the series show up with a nuclear bomb and blow it all to hell. Just cut to the end of Dr. Strangelove with mushroom clouds and the song "We'll meet again" playing.

Oh, I didn't see news that he died until your post. I like the movie so far. Amy's accent threw me off at the beginning, but then it was explained and I was like, "Ohhh, now I get it."
