Yeah, Torch chasing Silver Surfer was some great stuff.

Yeah they messed up on Doom and Galactus. I did get a kick out of their climactic fight with Doom in the first movie, though.

Are they still doing the reboot? If they do, they need to pull an ASM2 and pull out all the stops. And make Doom the goddamn badass that he is.

I triple dog dare you....-_- triple, right off bat.

Why must you do this to yourself, ETM? :csad:

The only thing wrong with Man-Thing is the script and perhaps some of the acting. It looks beautiful, has great music/score, good CGI, bit scary...seen it a few times and own Region 1 dvd and Region 2 Steelbook 2-Disc set. If it means anything, the writer (a big fan of Man-Thing comic) distanced himself from movie. His prequel comic to the movie is bit better than movie.

They keep threatening to make it but so far nothing solid has happened with it yet.

It's been silent on the FF reboot front lately. Last I heard they were changing script writers, and supposedly Michael B. Jordan is playing the Torch. But as far as I know, it's still planned for a 2015 release.

I hope Doom is being saved for a future installment like Norman was in TASM, because I really would like to see Mole Man as the villain in this new movie.

I hope they don't. It might not guarantee another FF Movie if the rights revert to Marvel, but at least Doom would be part of the MCU. And I want them to use him in some capacity. Doom under Marvel would be completely amazing.

Let's hope Doom doesn't get confused when seeing a Jacked up Storm as Captain America. :o

Would you really change your name to enterthecube?

My buddy X-Knight has changed his name a ton of times.

I'm bored and mulling it over. Let the Hype speak. I have my 15 minutes Thread beginning sometime Thursday, aka tomorrow.

We only need Deadpool. Too bad that will never happen.

I've watched it a couple of times...it's an OK horror movie...I just don't associate in any way with the character from the comics.

They ended up going with mindless tree like horror monster...which looks cool, cooler than what the Comic book version looks like...but from the little I know about comic...the comic has a better story.

HULK vs Man-Thing....oh my...:o

Personally, I'm excited for the FF reboot, but I have to say that wording was hilarious. :funny:
I'm not actually against a reboot but I don't want them to do it just to selfishly hold onto the rights for it for the sake of having them (see Spider-Man).

I think it was fate that this happened. Marvel Studios would undoubtedly be focusing on characters like the X-Men, Spider-Man, and FF before tackling Iron Man, Cap, Thor, etc. I'm glad that Marvel is basically forced to explore their lower tier characters and advance them to higher tiers. Like the Avengers! :woot:

I don't mind it as long as a quality movie is the end product. What they did with Dragon Ball though, that's the finest example of selfishly holding onto the rights. They had them for years, did diddly squat with them, and just as they were about to expire, churned out one of the most insulting Movie adaption ever conceived.

They did that with the very first FF as well. It was never officially released but bootlegs of it exist and it's crap from the stills I've seen (I've never seen it). Then there was the official two movie releases we did get. And now a fourth one if they ever get their act together.

*reads last few pages*

I can't trust anyone who doesn't like B&R.
