Well last week, I got my first job, and I get 8 bucks a hour. I work with my dad. Going to store to store replacing boards. And the best part is 80% of the time i'm in the car. And I still get paid. And I get free lunch. I start at 7:30 A.M.-5:30 P.M.

Working for daddy doesn't count:o

So your saying its not a job. Look up "Job" in the book of words. COUGHS The big D.:cwink:
I guess congrats and all but daddy hiring you doesn't count IMO. That is still not out in the real world. That is just a bigger allowance with extra work.

Really doesn´t count as a job, it´s basically like doing chores around the house and getting an allowance for it

:csad: Well I still get paid.
I worked for my dad one summer and he never paid me, he said I give you enough spending money as it is. I learned my lesson and went out and got a real job:csad:

I make about 200 bucks average for sitting in a car and carrying boards. Pretty sweet. But I only do this for a month, and I HAVE to put 90$ in the bank and the rest for spending.

Your only 15 so I understand your excitement. I was 15 when I got my first 'real' job during summer between grade school. I became a lifeguard which was one of the best/easiest jobs in the world but training and getting your certificate was hard as hell.

i applied at the mall like everywhere for my first job a couple days ago

no calls back yet =/

im going to get my working papers tomorrow, but i have like, 4 places ive asked about a job

Congrats! But yeah, this sort of doesn't count since your dad is the one hiring you. It's much harder finding a job where you aren't flipping burgers or ringing up items when you don't have family connections.:down:up::down

Word.

My dad let me work for him when I was a kid, too. He paid me back with food, shelter, and clothes.

Last summer I worked as a security guard. I was paid 10 dollars an hour, 40 hours a week, to sit in my car and watch a fence. All I had to do was make sure no mischief was going on, and of course nothing ever happened. So I was paid 400 dollars a week to sit in my car, listen to music, draw, and read.

When you give your first job you'll find more interest around here.

The biggest problem was that I had to ask to go to the bathroom. No one should ever have to ask to go to the bathroom, it's inhuman. It's like in highschool when you really had to pee and asked the teacher, and they denied you the right to relieve yourself because they were talking about blah blah or because too many people have already gone.
