I love the beach. Naturally the water is my element in FL, and I absolutely love it. The feeling of sand, the nice cool water, the waves, the hot women in bikinis, the sun, I love it. I usually surf, tan, and bury my friends on my average trip to the beach...I just realized I haven't been all summer, shameful.

Never been fond of the beach. Sand, water, sun and........what else? The beach is seriously one of the more overrated vacation spots out there.

Vacation spot? Heh. It takes me about twenty minutes to walk to the beach. It's not a vacation spot; it's just part of the scenery. :word:

WTF...who doesn't like the beach. What are you people...easily sunburned albino's?

Yeah, I live about half a mile from Chicago's Lakeshore, don't need much more than a nice day to go to the beach. Well, that and a leg without a cast.

I live three hours from Ocean City (a city with ocean), I go there every summer. I'm going there in about 2 weeks, can't wait.

Well I don't hate the beach, but it's not my favourite place to go heh.

Actually, I came back on Friday from a 6-day trip with my church to the coast. It was awesome.

Sun screen FTW. :oldrazz:

Oh, wait, do you mean you HAVE skin cancer? If so...that sucks. Sorry dude. :(:down

I loooooooooove the beach. I wish I was there now!

I love the sun, lying out on the sand, the smell of sunscreen, the sound of the ocean, floating on the waves, swimming, boarding and tubing, and the boardwalk. So relaxing, and the sun feels so good. It's not like the pool where you have to deal with shrieking children two feet away and the stench of chlorine.

Dude, they're on computers all day away from sunlight, of course they are!

I'm extremely pale unless I go tanning, and very easily burned, and I still freakin love the beach. They make like, SPF 80 sunscreen. So all the pale people have no reason to whine!

Yay. I've been to OC pretty much every summer for my entire life. I graduated from Salisbury University, which was only about 20 minutes away. We had our graduation party at Seacrets
I've gone to OC every summer of my life too. I know a guy that goes to Salisbury University.

The boardwalk is the best.

Me and the beach have a love-hate relationship (yet for some reason I voted no instead of yes/no)I love how it looks and love the smell of it all(well depends I guess on the place) but I hate it since all I can do there is sit on the hot rough sand. I cannot swim. I lived in a tropical country for like 3 years but after one little mishap in the water I developed a fear of it. Yet I wish I could swim.

Plus it's all just so darn hot, I am more a wintery kind of gal.

I love the ocean. I can sit there and just watch the ocean, go out on a boat, whatever. the ocean is awesome. Heres the deal with the beach:

1. I can't stand the sand. It's disgusting.
2. I can't stand Salt water. I may like the ocean, but i sure as hell don't like to go in it.
3. The sun turns me pink. I don't tan. I turn pink.
4. Booze is going to banned from the beach soon here.

Now, if the beach had none of that, I'd be all about it.

I live 5 minutes from the beach in San Diego.

beaches are boring. Sure you can swim for a while but then what? I get fidgety when I'm sitting around and doing nothing.

It's called relaxing, it's pretty cool. Or surfing, or skim boarding, or fishing, or going out on a boat, or boogie boarding, etc.

I love the beach. Man I just love the ocean. I wish I could went to the beach this summer. :(

I hate hot weather! However, watching the sun rise or set on a beach is awesome, and I love listening to the waves. So I love the beach, but only if its a private beach, and either in the morning or evening. Yes, I love the women and the very revealing bikinis, but I prefer my own peace and quiet and comfort to that.
