I have found the worst band in the world

How can anyone think AC/DC is bad...? I know people that don't like the music, but it's not bad music

dear gawd I thought you were talking about the user 'Fran' formerly 'Farmer Fran' on here. Fran Drescher has a hellish demon voice.

 If you were my friend, you wouldn't be my friend after this post. :(

Although, off topic, I must know. What are your top GREATEST bands of all time..(in your opinion)?

Then I am glad we're not friends :oldrazz:

LoL, any ways, my music taste changes quite a lot. Depends on my mood really. Lately I've been listening to a lot of Beatles, Doors, Pink Floyd, Simon and Garfunkel, Billy Joel, Queen...older classic rock. As far as contemporary...eh, Chevelle is pretty cool. I like a lot of metal bands, too. I could list tons of bands but all metal sounds the same either way (I openly admit that).

so Slayer, Iron Maiden, Testament, Dio, Sepultura, Opeth, Metallica, Arch Enemy, Carcass, Black Sabbath and many others sound the same?

20 years listening to metal and never had I realized

I think it kinda takes balls for a young band to sound like that, I mean, who'd be their target audience? The singer sounds like Steven Hawking doing an impression of Lou Reed.

And I thought this was the worst band

Even the children run away when they start playing

The intro sounds like Final Countdown meets Golden Axe on the Sega Megadrive.

I'm guessing the singer either a) can beat all the other guys up, or b) owns all the equipment.

Like in 'Rock Star' where Mark Wahlberg gets kicked out of the band because the other guy bought in some sweet speakers

I was talking about a lot of contemporary metal.

Bowling for Soup is pretty ****ing bad. They were playing free concert at Playland when i was there, which was lik 2 or 3 years ago.

You know your bad when you're playing nothing but free shows at amusement parks where atleast 3 kids die at every year.

Top five worse bands of all time (in my opinion of course)

Avenged Sevenfold
AC/DC
Guns & Roses
The Offspring
The Deftones

Terrible, terrible bands.

Opinion or not, those bands completely kick ass and you know it. :cwink: :brucebat: However, I thought the worst bands/posers/ect. in the world that I could think of would be Insane Clown Posse and the Naked Brothers Band or whatever the hell you call em'. :o *sighs* Rock's never been like it use to these days. :csad:

ICP is the stupidest **** ever. I ****ing hate them.

Ladies and gents, I think we all know that this is the worst band ever.

My sister used to be a huge fan of them... I swear I heard so many of their songs and I really just wanted to slam a fork into my brain whenever she had to pick me up from school and that was playing on her CD player.

Slayer's last studio album was far better than their previous 3 albums (Undisputed Attitude, Diabolus in Musica, and God Hates Us All), but not as good as their stuff from Divine Intervention and earlier.

Iron Maiden's latest studio album was very good. If they release 1 more solid studio album then they'll have paid their penance for their run of 4 horrible albums (No Prayer for the Dying, Fear of The Dark, and the 2 albums with Blaze on vocals).

Opeth's recent album was great.

Carcass is still re-releasing their albums and all of them are great, though Swansong still takes some getting used to after all these years.

Worst band? Just randomly pick out any country or bluegrass band/artist. You almost can't go wrong. I've grown up in the South, having those genres force fed to me. It all sounds seals getting disemboweled.

I'm not a fan of country myself, but it has such a wide appeal....their demographic goes from like 8 to 80....I live in Connecticut and every time a big country artists comes up here, people flock to it, and it sells out the day tickets go on sale....
